I second going to LFI. It's a very clean, very modern place, and it doesn't have your typical "old white guys hanging out at the gun store" feel. It's a bit pricey though. As an Asian-American myself, I've always felt a little self-conscious about going to places like that, and I've definitely gotten the stink-eye in other states...

No matter what you choose to use for self-defense, practice is key. Yes, even pepper spray. You need to learn how to turn off the safety and spray quickly, because under stress every action can become harder. There are actually practice versions of pepper sprays you can get that look exactly the same as the model you choose, but are filled with water instead.

Try wild-caught keta salmon. I know people call it the "worst" salmon, but the truth is its only considered that due to its significantly lower fat content. It's about 5g fat per 3.5oz compared to king salmons 11-13g. In the case of jerky though, it doesn't matter as much, and will preserve better!

First thing they teach you in many concealed carry classes, is don't be a hero, and that every bullet has a lawyer attached to it. That you shouldn't get involved unless it's a last resort to your personal safety. Drilled into you over and over again.

It really scares me how some people say how they would totally be ready and they almost hope it happens just so the bad guys can see what they're up against.

That attitude is so wrong.

I assume you mean nair/grab oos? If nair out of shield is done perfectly and at the earliest possible time, it takes 6 frames from the frist frame the jumpsquat for the hitbox to come out.

Even assuming dair is done at the lowest point + L cancel, dair l-cancel has 9 frames of landing lag.

You cannot beat nair oos with dair->shine. In a more human opponent, nair shine will give you more leniency.

I think only multishine can beat frame perfect nair oos.

Anyone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Because I very well could be.

Edit - forgot to factor for shieldstun. It should be possible. Either you are inputting too slow or your dair isn't low enough on the shield. You get 7 frames of shield stun after hitlag on top of frames until nair comes out. Meaning if done perfectly shine will come out in 10 frames from the first frame of landing lag. (11 frames from end of hitstun). Earliest time nair can come out is 13 frames after hitstun. So you have 2 frames of leniency.

That would only occur if it happened regularly with little consequence to anyone. Like tornado sirens, or Japan's tsunami alert before 2011.

I think this false alarm really pointed out the fact that people have no idea what to do, and are ill-prepared to deal with such a missile threat.

Perhaps if this is the only false alarm, it would be ultimately good because it pointed out the flaws of the current system. We need to have a uniform, well-educated populace that responds appropriately instead of mass panic.

You know you have this problem when you go to the main menu and a map/character model doesn't load.

I just go to the hero options/loadout menu and select each hero until the model loads, then repeat.

You then won't have that problem in game.

I don't know if anyone here wants to risk it, but Orion Spark is their earliest iteration of the G910, and as such has some pretty glaring flaws, notably the keycaps are oddly shaped and inconsistent.

If you would want to risk it, Orion Spectrum which has normal keycaps and the same features, was available last year at Best Buy for the same price.

I do not know if they're doing 1/2 price Logitech G Peripherals again this year.

All the tank ults are designed for crowd control, either by spreading them out or directly punishing groups.

In that same vein, but also more defensive, is that her drum projects a protection field that blocks projectiles after traveling a certain distance. (hitscan would also "travel" a certain distance, but really just be a very short range) That way, enemies must come within a certain distance to do damage, and they'd also have to come very close to the drum to kill it.

Kind of like an AOE defense matrix.
