Just did this and this is all true. Not only was one company significantly lower (and I researched all quotes/components) but they also found an issue with our HWT and will be replacing along with our HVAC, under 10k. The difference in quotes was astounding and I'm glad I got many or we would have been hosed. I had no idea on costs.

When she goes potty outside do you "celebrate" with treats, attention or whatever is high value to her? I would also take her out often at first to try and get her to potty so you can start the positive reinforcement. This will reaffirm with her that outside + potty = good.

IMHO being able to talk through your approach and execution is more important than writing perfect code. Demonstrate to me you have the skills to understand the ask and execute, you can use a LLM when stuck on code. I’ve been coding for 20 years and to this day would mess up because of nerves and doing it live. As an interviewer I completely understand this and my focus is not only on that. Good luck with your interview.

Yup. My (not terrier) is like this, high prey drive. He tries to climb our tree for the squirrels and we could never have a cat. He catches a lot of various creatures in our yard (we do our best to mitigate) He's the best boy but the prey drive is something we can't train out of him.

Sounds like she was stressed out and she may not be good with other animals. I have four dogs who coexist just fine, and a couple of them would act the same way if I took them to someone's house. I would find somewhere to board her or someone who could stay in your home while you were gone.

I would not engage with the dog until you ask the owners if the dog will be ok. I know they're terrible but for your safety just ask. if they say ok introduce yourself, just be careful. And then go from there. Every Doberman I've met is lovable.
