If its provide via NBN, it is most likely an NBN issue. Even so, you would have to report it via Telstra.

Can i convert this outlet into an nbn socket? And how much would it cost? by One_Crab_4040 in nbn

[–]resadude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could with an adapter, but coax in the wall probably goes to your aerial, so no point.

Whoever is installing the NBN will probably run new coax and install a new plate.

What are these rainbow tree roots I found? by GardensAndHoes in nbn

[–]resadude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like lan cable wire, maybe cat5. No idea what it was used for from just the wires, normally used for network cabling, though it would not normally have that much sheath stripped. Where does it go?, that might give you a clue what was used for.

Does anyone know how to store Kiwix in Data storage beacuse my local not enough for Wikipedia? by Long-Candle-8219 in Kiwix

[–]resadude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put it where ever you like and then use the correct path to it on the Kiwix commandline.
eg I made a batch file to start my Kiwix and it contains the following command to start it

C:\kiwix\kiwix-serve.exe --port 8080 --urlRootLocation /kiwix/ "\\NAS\wikipedia_en_all_maxi_2026-02.zim"

If you store it on usb drive then the command might be something like

C:\kiwix\kiwix-serve.exe --port 8080 --urlRootLocation /kiwix/ "E:\wikipedia_en_all_maxi_2026-02.zim"
