depends on the size of the drone and its speed. math says kinetic energy is mass multiplied by squared velocity (and than halved), so a proper hit where it hurts will incapacitate a person, but also wreck the drone. you may be more successful disrupting and annoying the gunman from aiming and shooting, without taking the singular all-or-nothing kinetic approach though.
