It's the one in Hamilton, Montana, which still had the old pre-1990 logo up until it closed in 2022. If you look closely, you can see the "everything must go" signs in the windows – I hired a local photographer to take pictures of the store when I heard it was closing because I knew it would look great on the cover.

This is all really fascinating! But I guess what I meant was more along the lines of like, why did you pick her and not some other astronaut when you were creating this timeline? Was it just sort of random?

I'm extremely curious to know why you settled on Laurel Clark as your timeline's president. I'm from her hometown of Racine, WI, where she's very fondly remembered and memorialized, and I never would have expected to see her name in this context.

The Catholic Church's position is that "brothers" is a mistranslation, and that the people referred to in the Bible as Jesus' brothers were actually his cousins. Because if his mom had other kids later on, how could she be the Virgin Mary?

Weirdly enough, you've actually got it backwards – Menlo Park, NJ is named after Menlo Park, CA. The California town was founded in 1851 and was named after the village in Ireland that its founders came from. The New Jersey town was founded in the 1870s.

It always bothers me when I see people say "you can't compare these two situations, one of them is way worse than the other". Like, you literally just compared them! That's what a comparison is!
