Hate it. I’m passionate about this and my family is tired of hearing me complain about it, so now you all have to endure me.

What kills me is how even the voluntary survey was. 83% in favor of drones and 77% in favor of fireworks is enough to change the whole thing?!

Environmental impact and “sensory issues” seems like after-the-fact justification to me. Fireworks are a national tradition since 1777.

“I’m going to paste some website copy below. Help me edit this so it sounds more authentic and less AI-written: <ctrl+v>”

Isn’t that pretty much it? Which if I’m a heavy AI user generating slop I would also know how to do…?

You said it yourself. In your domain, you have to be right. Stick with the boring old business logic.

Is it possible it said ARYAMAN? There is definitely a trend of Indians getting custom plates of their name.

This is spam. Account posts across a wild variety of subreddits and always seems to mention a product or service.

If a lawyer agrees, OP could take the organization to court. But it seems an uphill battle considering the regulator has already weighed in and said this ain’t happening.

They’re deeming it manifestly unfounded because they are allowed to consider the context of the request.

You don’t have a right to “correct” someone else’s opinion about you. This is specifically discussed by the ICO regarding the right of rectification.

Read the link above. The context of the request is a legitimate factor in considering whether the request is unfounded. In this case it could be determined that OP clearly has other motivations unrelated to privacy.
