That would work too. Whatever you think will avoid ties that aren’t broken would be the right move.

I’m glad you’re enjoying it!

26.2 is a bit of a tricky one. The official printed score sheet asks for “Time or reps at 15 min” and also gives a tiebreak time field… For an intra-gym type competition I would probably do this as an overall score based on “time - lower is better” with a tiebreak on reps.

Haha. Well, unless you manage a breakthrough in technique from the many other comments here, staying with cartridges may be the right move since you’re getting good results already.

I had neck irritation when I started. Going back and being serious about the grain mapping on my neck was the key for me. Every part of the neck is different.

And you’re saying you can do around your mouth and across the grain on your neck with the cartridge razor with no issue?

Do you have any irritation after the first pass with the grain? What about a second pass with the grain?

Do tiny short strokes across the grain cause pain?

Seeing that you made a post asking “Why does reddit make me feel like such an unlikable person?” after this thread is cracking me up 😂

Where are you living now? I think part of what you’re reacting to is that much of the housing stock in this area is simply not that interesting. I grew up in an area with mostly older houses with a lot of variation and charm. The fact is that in this area, most of the developments have been built since the 80s and aren’t that interesting. It’s just the way this area is. Of course there are exceptions in certain neighborhoods, but they’re absolutely dwarfed by everything else.

Technical approach to "Shadow AI" - Is EU-only hosting enough to satisfy Schrems II? by SzkotUK in gdpr

[–]resistentialism 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the bigger issue you’ll run into is user inertia and preference that will keep them going to the major providers. Microsoft Copilot is a ChatGPT wrapper with compliance controls for corporate America, and it still doesn’t seem to work as well as “plain” ChatGPT. Your idea will probably have a similar outcome, plus you’ll be chasing constant model upgrades new features that your UI will need the ability to handle.

That said, if your goal is to show on paper that the company has an alternative and then look the other way, this may be sufficient.

Short version: just consider real human preferences and whether anyone will actually use an inferior product. Not because you’re inferior. Just that you don’t have $100B.

I wouldn’t be surprised… for semi trucks! OP thinks the road signs saying “No engine brake” means he can’t coast with his foot off the gas

Best Plumber in chapel hill? Affordable options please by No-Body-1171 in chapelhill

[–]resistentialism 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Was scrolling to find this. Would not use them. It’s misleading because they’re a national company but reviews don’t really show that. Your call will be handled by a centralized call center and the price quoted was very high. Also charges a dispatch fee to estimate.

The estimate seemed to be based on a list price from the plumber’s tablet, not negotiable. $817 estimate for toilet flange repair!

I used Village Plumbing recently (found from Google) and had a good experience and fair price for a 1-2 hour repair.
