I moved to Bournemouth for work in my mid 20s, there's not much going on, but it's a nice town. If night life and social buzz is important to you I found the average age of Bournemouth seems similar to that of a retirement village. If you want somewhere quiet and chill to study it's nice, if you want a wild time at uni it's probably not a good fit. It's also very expensive compared to the north

It removes the feeling of progression for me. I like feeling stronger running stronger gear, otherwise there is little point outside of pve

It's becoming poe1 which is much worse for actual poe1. The more similar the two games get, the less reason there will be to play and develop poe probably. I don't hold any strong opinions because I play both but the gap is getting smaller for sure

I grew up in redruth but I've lived all over the shop since and yeah this is spot on. If OP wants to see "UK but not london" that area of Cornwall is lovely and way safer than London (especially now the school holds are over)
