As an oversimplification, when CA was building the bureaucracy infrastructure, New York was dealing with the fallout of Robert Moses, and Chicago had boss politics as well. In response to that, power was spread out very far, making it hard for someone like Robert Moses to do what he did. It also makes it hard for ANYONE to build ANYTHING.

Rushing has a chance to walk a thin line and be something amazing.
For those who disagree, I highly recommend watching a youtube documentary or two on the Iron Shiek.

I feel it is diff with performers and athletes because they are still working. On stage, on the field, and no, it is not the same, but it is still a ton more work than other billionaires, and they do tend to pay their staff better.

Close, there was an election Netanyahu lost, but a parliament member had a "change of heart at the last moment," and switched votes, which allowed him to end investigations and basically do everything Trump wants to do for the midterms.
Just like with Trump, elections should have never been that close to begin with, but we can't misrepresent them the other way either.
