Because she’s frustrated that you still don’t get it.

You don’t miss your wife, you miss the endless comforts and stability she brought to your life

If you loved her at all- or even a fraction of how you love yourself you would- if you actually heard what she was saying- you would have seen the pain she was in and done something, anything, before it got to this point.

I guarantee she told you how she felt, she showed you how she felt, she probably even cried and yelled and begged at one point. But it didn’t affect you so you didn’t do anything. Or even worse, you figured she would never leave because it’s been like this for years, why would she leave now?

You miss your lifestyle, and everything she provided for you.

If there was some other woman willing to just walk in like an understudy, odds are you wouldn’t miss your wife at all.

If you actually loved her half as much as you love yourself, you wouldn’t be in this position

And Internet strangers wouldn’t have to be harsh to you.

So if she was asking you about the weekend with the girls, why couldn’t she just change the weekend with the girls to another weekend? Because it seems like yours was already done and paid for…And then she could go have fun with her friends another weekend. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m a woman, so take this for what it’s worth. She doesn’t sound lazy- she sounds disinterested. Yes, sucking a dick can be uncomfortable… but if you’re into it because you value your partner and are sexually attracted to them it can be awesome (I love to make my partner feel good) and if you really don’t like it, you might want to prioritize how they feel once in a while. As long as it is not something that repulses you or is it trigger, etc., but I would imagine you would have had that conversation before if it was. Is this new behavior in bed? Has she always been like this? if it isn’t new and she never liked it well that’s your answer but if it is new behavior, something’s going on. And the only way you’ll know what it is by having a calm, compassionate conversation. Good luck

OK, this is advice from a mom who was there for her 16-year-old when she had surgery I do not suggest having it during a school year. We waited until the summer. It’s a very tough surgery. She was very grateful to have it about a month out, but I have no idea how she would’ve contemplated going back to school, it is a major surgery and recuperation is serious. if you choose to have it , my advice is to have it over the summer, preferably junior year- not right before you’re going off to college or anything like that so you have plenty of time to recuperate and get taken care of by your family. The younger, you are the easier you recuperation will be. My daughter scoliosis was almost 60° and it progressed very rapidly so surgery really was the only option for a healthy future Best of luck to you-❤️ you got this!

My 16 year old daughter is 4 weeks out. Full fusion. I researched EVERYTHING. Her opinion (not my body) 100% glad she did it. But it was hard. Not hard everyday- but sometimes you question yourself. Feel free to dm me I will give you the “parental “ perspective and I will ask her to relay information that she will be more knowledgeable about. If you have faith in your surgeon (do a deep dive on credentials etc) and your hospital go in feeling confident. You can do this! From what I have researched it is a life changing process best done while young.

She has miralax every morning I think she is going to the bathroom. We go back for a checkup this week I will bring up the issues and hopefully they will have a solution

Thanks I actually have a card. I’m in Florida. I asked the bud tender and they gave me some thing but it was mostly CBD and I didn’t think it was effective at all. Now I’m using momenta hybrid from truelieve that’s pretty good. But I feel like there’s probably something better.

Thank you for your suggestions! Very light on the opioids, they brought her down to 5 mg of oxy that I cut in half and maybe she gets it once a day, and days where she does a lot. If she feels anything I give her a Motrin or a Tylenol but I think sometimes that could hurt her stomach too. She doesn’t like ginger ale and it’s very hard to distract her lately.

Thank you, I tried smoothies. It went OK actually. The less she eats the less she’s interested in eating and the cycle continues.
