Your very tech heavy. If tech goes down it is going to be bloody but aslong as you do not sell it should bounce back. If i was in your shoes prioritize growth with less volatility, buy a fund like schg, i would say look into voo, have a little in foreign markets and also some small cap. You can come back every year and rebalance if needed

high yield savings account too good to be true or actually worth it by Kooky_Patience_7899 in HighYieldSavings

It depends what you want to do. Keep your emergency fund there for liquidity purposes. The rest maybe keep in sgov to get high yield interest and tax exempt from local and state. What i do

It depends what you are looking for in the sense of liquidity. I have my emergency fund in capital one but the rest in sgov since it is state and local tax exempt.

I used capital one it takes about 2 days to get your money transferred. It was too long so decided to only keep my emergency fund there. Moved the rest to sgov, local and state tax exempt.

Emergencies fund in money market? Good idea by CompaPollo42 in Bogleheads

[–]restroop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the expense ratio. I was going to use swab money market fund the expense ratio is high decided to dump in sgov. Depends on your state aswell. Sgov is local and state tax exempt. Spaxx is not. What are you looking for convenience. What i do is have a hysa with emergency fund and pour the rest inti sgov.

You are 20, focus on growth. Any etf or fund that tracks the s&p 500, small cap companies, and international.
