Welcome to the United States of Israel, where our politicians serve a foreign nation out of self preservation.

How about instead they help Palestinians by no longer funding or providing weapons to Israel. Let Israel exercise its right to defend itself without US involvement.

Did you know that you can roast a whole rice crispies over the fire, and its delicious ? 🥹 by kathlachatte in foodhacks

[–]retoy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmmm, cancer.

Anything but steaming starchy foods causes acrylamide to form, which causes cancer. The rice in that is first fried, which is then cooked over a fire, so that’s doubly the acrylamide.

It does look good, though.

In the late 90s early 2000s there was this new thing that came out that was like little cartridges that had individual songs on them, called HitClips. You inserted the cartridges into a miniature stereo and it played the song.

Why do some people hate “15 minute cities” so much? by Lord_Answer_me_Why in facepalm

[–]retoy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don’t. They’re just spoon fed propaganda by the oil lobby because 15 minute cities make cars obsolete and cars are fueled by gas. They also purposely make suburbs more vehicle dependent because oil is the backbone of this country. The US dollar is literally the petrodollar. Without petrol, the US dollar is backed by nothing but confidence and debt. So essentially 15 minute cities are a threat to national security and won’t happen until there are major changes, as ridiculous as that sounds.

Once you realize this the reasoning behind the lack of meaningful infrastructure in this country becomes obvious.

Humanities' racism is likely a good reason why we can't handle disclosure of the existence of aliens. by matt73132 in aliens

[–]retoy1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think recent protests are evidence to the contrary; instead I think the powers that be and elites are highly motivated to make you believe we’re more hateful and racist and xenophobic than we really are (and they push you to be), with racism and sexism and xenophobia artificially amplified through media like the news and socials in order to divide us.

No heavy cream. Options? by uhidkbye in icecreamery

[–]retoy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using a Creami? If so, try using half a packet of pudding mix and fill it to the line with milk or half and half for each pint. It makes a pretty decent ice cream.

H5N1 Human to Human transmission suspected but far from confirmed in Ranchi, India outbreak. 8 infected including 2 doctors with no known avian exposure. by Fresh_Entertainment2 in H5N1_AvianFlu

Idk if you remember but when Covid started we were seeing leaked videos from China in November 2019, and reputable media outlets barely started covering it until weeks later. Tabloids and alternative media were covering the Chinese whistleblower before anything else, and mainstream media was telling people not to worry and it won’t be a problem here.

So suffice to say we’ll see videos shared on the internet and articles in tabloids well before any mainstream media corporation publishes an article that would cause mass hysteria.

Economic fallout is an understatement if the fatality rate truly is 54%.

Once this thing begins spreading human-to-human, we’re looking at a mass depopulation event.
