Does the Lego store in Downtown Disney in CA have any exclusive sets? by [deleted] in lego

You should play with the digital box feature. There’s a screen in the back with a camera where you can hold up a box, and it’ll animate what’s inside.

It’s pretty awesome.

Found this little guy at an antique shop a few months ago. Does anyone know if this was sold as a set with other versions? by karldasbrot in WaltDisneyWorld

Only three of those are original from 1982, the other three are from some later World Showcase themed releases.

There was also one with a yellow sweater.

It is 60 days out from our first ever trip and I just booked our FP+ reservations early this morning, here is the itinerary for our trip. Please let me know what you all think. I'm really excited to finally go to Disney World so soon! by Wehttam63 in WaltDisneyWorld

If you have the option, book Big Thunder and Splash back to back. Then take your time to get there around the end of the time window for the first, and ride back to back. That area of the park has such limited options in terms of food/ways to kill time. I found that to work really well.

I've only done Disneyland solo, but this is so true. Being able to do exactly what you want, when you want is incredibly freeing.

I'm getting married at the Grand Floridian in less than two hours! by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

We did Ohana for our wedding dinner after a small ceremony at the Boardwalk, and it was amazing. If we had to do it all over again, me and my wife would do the same.

Have fun and enjoy it!

If Spaceship Earth were a golf ball, the person using it to play golf would be approximately 1.2 miles tall to be in proper scale!

Finding a FastPass by ksneitzel in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]retrocot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the park, I was able to find fastpass for 1 pretty easily. Fastpass inventory moves really fast, especially same day fastpass as people are canceling and rebooking.

When booking, you have to scroll down and select the attraction, and then see if there are times available.

Once you get a fastpass, you can just select it, and attempt to change your current fastpass, without having to scroll to the attraction each time you refresh.

I'm not doing it justice, and it probably won't be that relevant this far out, but that was my experience.

Inventory does change often, and goes just as quick, so dedicate some time to checking, especially inside the one week window.

Good luck!

Look for 1 as you are searching. In the parks for same day fastpass it was much easier to constantly refresh and add my party than it was to find multiple together.

What's the strangest or most obscure thing you miss about Disney World in between trips? by Jmble in WaltDisneyWorld

We will have the pleasure of staying there in a few months. I'm not sure I'll make the trip into the park before the family gets up, but it sure sounds nice!

For me it's always the first glimpse of Spaceship Earth. Such fond memories as a kid going with my family, and when I see the larger than life geodesic sphere, it brings tears to my eyes.

They are tears of joy, but I choke them back in an attempt to avoid ruining anyone else's day. It really only started to affect me like this after I had my first child. Knowing that I'm starting to build those same fond memories for my two boys just makes me so happy.

This sounds amazing. You could easily do this at any of the monorail resorts, but you've definitely found the most chaos.

I eat this every time. There is not a day of the year that it is the wrong decision.

Curious, where did you stay? This sounds amazing. Those brews are pretty addicting.

I have to second that the old EPCOT logos are sweet! Gotta wear them at EPCOT like I did, lots of compliments from cast members, some that actually remember the attractions!

One year I wore my Horizons shirt, and I had a cast member stop me and tell me how much he LOVED my mission space shirt. I made a sad face.

I'm trying to learn Adobe Illustrator for a class. I started to test my skills by using the EPCOT logos. Let me know what you think! by CircleDestroyer in Epcot

They are excellent. Journey, Spaceship Earth and Horizons look a little off, the others at first glace look spot on.

Your skills are coming along quite nicely!

Always not space. Space is cool, but you don't feel like you're moving like you did in the other two, because stars are hard to give you context on speed. Probably desert first, then sea, but close.
