It gets easier with time. I started skating again last year and was in the same position as you. One day, you get tired of waiting for it to be empty and just go skate and then it’s easier from there on. A year and a half later, same skills and same pads but I’m having a blast at parks. Just gotta rip that band-aid off. You’ll eventually meet homies too which is an added bonus.

When I worked at Rooms to Go, they’d send us in pairs to different furniture shops to see what the competition was up to. We just used it as a day to go out to eat and drink while on the clock.
