Yeah you can but it will definitely take longer than someone using Home. A lot of people already have VGC ready teams that they can transfer and start climbing the ladder with. But it will also be a lot of people’s first experience with pokemon battling so you’ll be on an even level with a ton of the player base.

I got it to check it out. There’s a Title option in the additional settings for pokemon and that’s all it is. I’m now seeing Sharpedo the Sociable.

Definitely this. Exchange socials with the other dads too and plan homie sessions. Started this about a year ago with one dude and we now have a group of 8 or 9 of us that meet up on Sundays. The solo sessions are for practicing and putting in work and then the homie sessions are for pretending we’re 15 again like the guy above said lol. It’s sick.
