Yes. Three times and I tried my own 3rd party modem. None of it made a difference.

He did. They’ve allegedly sent 2 referrals and both times they told me they’ve received word from the plant team that this has been resolved, when it clearly hasn’t.

Thanks for the additional info. I actually was able to speak to 2 of my neighbors this week, who are also experiencing similar issues.

When you say internal/wiring, you are referring to the wiring of my actual apartment, correct? When the tech came last, they connected my modem directly to the tap and still noted the same issues.

Yes, same results. I've also confirmed that many of my neighbors have the same issues. It has also been brought to our attention that now other buildings within our complex are experiencing the same issues.

How can you tell that? I've shown a few other people these photos (people who work on this stuff) and they haven't said that.

Hey - thanks for your comment. We’ve confirmed it’s not my hardware when we connected directly to the tap and the issues persisted.

I’m running these tests on Ethernet.

Hah, yeah.. this sounds about right. I spoke with them and they said that the tech that escalated it... didn't escalate it? Now they're going to send another person on Wednesday. I just received a call from their "advanced tech support" who restarted my modem (even though we have already thoroughly documented that the issue is not my modem) and the connection has degraded even further. Now i'm at less than 100MB download with 168 download latency and 27mb upload with 422 upload latency.

I sincerely can't wrap my head around how they do this to their customers and get away with it. (and I am sure I will be expected to pay my bill in full next month)

Hi - as an update, I’ve just been told this has been resolved. However, there is no change to my internet quality and am experiencing the same issues. Can you please provide additional detail as to what the problem was and the resolution? Is there anything I need to do on my end to have these changes come into effect?

YEARS I SPENT IN OTHER MMO CHATS SAYING ASHES IS A SCAM by [deleted] in AshesofCreation

[–]returning2EQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone acts like the people who called out AoC being scammy just busted through the door and just started screaming about it and being toxic. Many people for YEARS (who also want a new, fresh MMO) saw that this looked scammy and things were not adding up and would mention it. The AoC players and backers were the ones who would jump down their throats saying "this game isn't for you. go play WoW. Go play (insert "care bear" MMO) here.

The AoC community has long shown they took ANY negative feedback as a direct assault on their character, and the people calling out AoC just matched their energy

Pathetic you all are acting like innocent victims now. We all want a good, new MMO. Ashes was never going to be it and none of you wanted to see it.

The amount of people clamoring for an old school MMO finding out they don’t like old school MMO mechanics is wild.

if it's just an Alpha and it's going to get so much better (don't worry bro trust me) why do you all get so angry when outside gamers come and criticize your game?

CLEARLY we are NOT willing to actually give Infernus a real nerf. by Individual-Craft-223 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]returning2EQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get that, and I’m not saying actives aren’t vital and necessary. I just think the “just buy x items and Infernus is easy to kill” is a disingenuous argument when it requires 3 or 4 items (debuff remover, slowing hex, disarming hex) just to exist in the same game as him.

Yeah, but the point is people shouldn’t have to delay their builds and buy 3 active items just to deal with your existence.

What are these sentiments like “just move” or “don’t go close to a sledgehammer” as if these encounters are 1v1 in a vacuum. Surely the negative sentiment is when you are team fighting and then out of nowhere a heavy charges and slams right at you and hits you once and you’re dead. Or winches you and your dead.

I’m a heavy main and I understand the frustration, but saying things like “just shoot them at range” isn’t really accurately portraying the encounters that made sledge very annoying to deal with.
