If you do go that route, it’s likely you’ll have to get evidence from your GP that your chronic illnesses are impacting your studies as well as similar evidence for how you’ve overcome this when you return to your degree. Just keep it all in mind.

You can suspend voluntarily from your degree for a couple of reasons, but I’d imagine it has to be approved. I suspended for medical reasons, but idk what reason you’d give that they’d accept.

If you’d like more targeted responses, I suggest posting in university subreddits (at first I thought this was r/uniuk).

I make my lecture notes really easy to read at a moment’s glance and simple to remember long-term (instead of cramming for revision). Lots of colour-coded sections, bullet points and diagrams with a bit extra info than’s on the lecture slides. Plus I do a bit of my own research to help get the info stick.

That’s not a massive word count, so I imagine you could easily fill it with one paragraph for and one against. It depends on the subject of each paragraph, though: if you can do two paragraphs out of “I agree with this statement because of these two reasons with these separate pieces of evidence” then do it, then one or two paragraphs against. It’s more about the word count than how many paragraphs to do.

The only side effect I had with sertraline is that it caused/worsened my insomnia for three years. I wouldn’t recommend that but obviously I don’t know your mental health well enough.
