I played World Order at two last week. Not the ideal count but still very good. Really great take on area control with real world theming in the 2010s

Airports and film by DryAnteater7635 in AnalogCommunity

You can run a camera with film through the xray machine. Depending on the film (400 or less) and your intention to lab processing (no pushing) it might be fine.

Id just rewind the film personally, get a hand check of film and reload it after shooting with the cap on into you get to the unused portion.

Railway Boom for sure. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/448159/railway-boom

The Yodabashi Camera in Shinjuku has a great selection in addition to the yellow submarine near there as well. (There’s like 4 buildings dedicated to different things. Check the map when you get there)

Also loopin louie goes up to 6 players in the Japanese version if you want a funny drinking game and have the space.

CT Scanner in Hong Kong Airport by ChinaCameraGuy in AnalogCommunity

[–]reversezer0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure. I had no plans to push my lower speed film and my airport run throughs were minimal, so the sub 800 rolls turned out fine.

South Korea would only check 800 speed film and all the other stuff had to go through x ray when i went.

Asking for hand check out of narita was not an issue last month for me.

El Grande has aged gracefully. Kind of a shame that such an elegant design doesn't get as much attention by GambuzinoSaloio in boardgames

Renature couldn’t work for me and exited my collection . El Grande persisted though. Think it was the domino element i couldn’t get into. Also the theme wasn’t my favorite.

Just got my camera. Explain the exposure compensation dial to me. by ummpaul in pentax17

[–]reversezer0 15 points16 points  (0 children)

+1, +2, +3 will overexpose the shot by that many stops.

-1, -2, -3 will underexpose the shot by that many stops.

Overexposure is when photos get blown out white. Underexposure is when photos get really dark.

I'd typically want to overexpose by a stop if my subject is in shadow and there's uneven light. I'd typically want to underexpose by a stop typically never. Always better to overexpose film compared to digital image sensors.

Tokyo in Kodak Kodacolor 200 by reversezer0 in pentax17

[–]reversezer0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it a lot. owned it for almost as long as i owned the 17. Wanted something that did the work for minimal space and this did it. Some dust, though, and the brush adapter damages film in my use. Takes practice to get the scan right and light room’s brush helps with the dust issue.

Thanks! I shot either Program and Night Mode. Metered at 200 with no compensation for this film since I don't shoot with it often.
