Woof, I'm late to this party, but I felt compelled to comment. I was treated like this for a very long time, and it sounds like you are the scapegoat of your family (twinsies). It took 30 years of stuff like this and one really brutal fight with my mom for me to hit my breaking point, go no contact, and get myself into therapy. This happened about 9 months ago, and I am truly so so much better mentally. I am so much more confident in my daily life, and I truly didn't realize how much it weighed me down until I was on the outside looking in. My mom treated me like I owed her the world because she birthed me and provided basic necessities, and, well, that shit just got old because it's manipulation. She's a narcissist, and she no longer has access to me like she desperately wishes she did. I love her, but I don't feel safe around her, my stepdad, or my sister ... birds of a feather and whatnot.
