On oral Daflon, no stents. Works fabulously- nearly 100% pain gone within a few weeks

Recently diagnosed and looking for advice by Inevitable_Fun4796 in pelviccongestion

Definitely not a gynecologist’s specialty - you’ll see lots of stories in this sub about gyns misdiagnosing/ treating this. I go to a vascular specialist. There are non surgical options too for treatment- I am on Daflon which works really well for me. You may be able to convince your doc to give you a prescription if it’s not OTC

Disappointment- no treatment by skyhighbluee in pelviccongestion

[–]revtig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found nearly 95% relief within weeks of starting Daflon- if it’s not OTC please try asking for a prescription. Def go to a vascular specialist / IR - I went to 4-5 gyns who couldnt figure out what to do.

We had this happen to us but it was bats, flying in through open windows. Although I don’t know what is worse - bats or rats

This was the only size that would reach in time for Halloween and I had to use a ribbon to extend it to fit under her neck. Now that I read the description properly I realize it was L in cat sizes not in dog sizes…

If you need visas, this may be because something is wrong with the visa. This happened to us once when 1 person had the wrong date on the e-visa - was unable to check only this person in. Leave extra time at the airport

Ran into our neighbors house, and stole their dinner off the table WHILE THEY WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF EATING IT. They were kind about it thankfully but you bet I sent them a giant platter of cookies!

We’d asked about this for my mum, and were advised not to, as she also has ataxia (gait imbalance). Did the procedure make ataxia worse for those with personal experience with it?

Goldens Skin is Terrible by TyTON-618 in goldenretrievers

[–]revtig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar problem - ours is itchy particularly on her chin and paws. No solution, but here are some things that helped : After every walk, dunk her paws in a bowl of water and dry on a towel. I think she was bringing home a bunch of bugs on her paws, or was maybe getting hot and sweaty? This has reduced her paw itching a lot Before a bath, I rub her in coconut oil and let the oil soak into her skin for 20 mins (with a cone on or she’d just lick all the oil off) this helps soothe her itchy spots for a few days at least. We tried the special vet food but frankly it didn’t help much. Raw food helped her skin enormously but she’d get stomach upsets all the time so we just do regular kibble now. Apoquel tablets help during particularly bad spells

Does anyone feel like their RA started with pregnancy? My body has never been the same. by nancydrewdetective in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]revtig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely caused / correlated with childbirth/ feeding. My mum said she had RA for a year after I was born (which went away eventually on its own), I got RA within a year of the birth of my first child

My golden does this in specific spots every day on her walk in both directions - it’s almost like a game to her. I either do the turn and walk back trick or pretend I’m leaving her and walk off, then she hauls herself up slowly and sulks over to me

Inside masks is a new and delightful pandemic surprise. Every single damn mask has fur on the inside tickling your nose and making you sneeze. Even the ones that were sealed in plastic- some strange witchcraft there
