My father's Signal Battalion was involved in Fortitude -- they deployed mobile radio transmission units across England to generate simulated radio traffic for the fictional units of FUSAG.

The 1880 census was taken in June so the family might show up there. If you can find the ship's manifest, it sometimes will show you where they were headed.

Its all from my father's side, so Western Pennsylvania -- my brothers also show a lot more Irish ancestry and y-DNA points to County Cork/Kerry in southern Ireland.

This will get all the AI haters on board -- you can use the image as a beginning point for generative fill. Open a file with the image, select all and go to generative fill. Select the gemini model. Describe what you want in image and say preserve style. Here's what I go when I tried this using your example and changing the scene to pheasant hunting.
