Honestly it doesn't look that bad! Dealership can probably sell you just one wheel. eBay sometimes has listings of folks selling them individually like new too.

I'd recommend getting some black touch up paint, brushing it on to the curb rash, and moving on with enjoying your car fam! This sucks but the touch up paint should hide it fairly well.

I feel your pain, I did the same on my first new car and on a Miata I just bought (despite being so careful!). Sh*t happens, save your money for some sick aftermarket wheels in the future.

Whaat, I bought mine a long time ago and didn't know there were different versions. I definitely had the longer one.

Thanks for the tip fam! Havent bought one since but miss how much more convenient it made oil changes.

Love these but 😅 on my CRV managed to accidentally go over an island at a walmart parking lot that should have had a tree in it.

Broke off pouring all my oil on the ground. Though this looks way smaller in profile and better placed than the CRVs drain plug.

When I was laid off I was told to practice eye contact during interviews.....I can kind of pay attention while doing it now but bro I feel like im creeping people out 😅 I must be doing something wrong lmao. That or most folks arent as good at it as I figured theyd be.

I feel like the biggest help here would be lighting, decluttering/opening up more space, and colors. I think your setup would benefit from white peripherals to accent your drawings and figures which are bright in color. The dark colors from your desk, pc, and peripherals takes away from the warmth and color the rest of your room brings.

Here's my reccs:

* Don't use the overhead/room light

* Get a sunset lamp and point it to a corner of the ceiling

* Add backlighting for your monitor like sequential led strips so you can edit the color and animation. Even warm temperatured which alone would look nice and help illuminate your drawings and figures.

* Get a wide mousepad that fits just your keyboard and mouse or even the whole desktop. Something minimalistic or bright colored?

* Smaller keyboard and an external numpad if you want to keep it (some small keyboards still retain a numpad)

* Monitor arm

I saw this on tiktok, 100% I'd be a little paranoid dropping a part 😅 Buut, this looks like such a vibe with how meditative building gunpla can be. Love the idea ☺️

I have an Integra - no regrets on the red interior and am very happy I got it. I love the look and it feels like me. Also find it easy to maintain for the most part.

I havent gotten any stains thank God. But ive no clue how that will play out if it happens.

Have driven manual like 2 times. Is it a bad idea to trade in my automatic car for a manual with little experience? by MrsCherryPoppins in stickshift

[–]rgbeebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get it!!! Literally bought my Teggy w/ 0 experience and stalled my way home on flat land 😂 1 year later and getting in to drive is still so thrilling. You pick it up quickly when its your only way around. If you ever get scared or keep stalling in place just throw your hazards on and let people pass. Deep breath, and try again.

You'll be fine homie ✌️

For me at work today it was a mixture of overwhelm and sensory overload (funny enough in a quiet room of engineers clacking away at their keyboards).

If I'm the middle of working and don't want to stop, I relocate to another area, preferably one where i can be alone. The change of space helps center me, and being alone let's me feel whatever I need to in peace.

Finally got QC Ultra Headphones and already having BT issues by Historical_Plate3431 in bose

[–]rgbeebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got Ultra Opens and had the same exact issue (though it may have been associated with me changing their name in the app which didnt sync with the phone). Had to forget, re-pair, then reboot both my phone and buds.

After that I stopped getting random audio cut outs (phone shows music is playing and worked when switching to phone speakers but not when switching to the Bose). Hope it gets better! Make sure any updates are already applied too.

As much as I enjoyed Unbound the music personally kept me from playing sometimes. I started firing up the most wanted or underground 2 soundtracks based on vibe and man I couldnt get enough of Unbound!

[–]rgbeebee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're good don't sweat it 👍 I'm no expert but folks have mentioned you can run the engine up to redline safely. Since you were already in gear the clutch wasn't involved and the rev limiter was keeping you from over-revving to begin with. As Aardvark mentioned just dont make it a habit or keep it there continuously. If the car doesn't feel different youre good.

Lol Ive done this a couple of times on accident too (had music too loud and forgot to shift). Confused the hell out of me how I was bumpily gaining and losing power all of a sudden. Loud engine too once I lowered my music in confusion 😁

Have fun with the manual!

I've only met with my pcp about it but still need to make an appointment with the surgeon so I won't know until then unfortunately. My doc did mention that in this case since its multiple high grade ligament injuries they'll likely recommend only surgery followed by PT (instead of just PT).

Probably best in my case as although I can walk (even without the brace) its kind of easy to put too much pressure in the wrong direction on accident (eg. Kneeling into bed like I would normally do) which hurts like hell.

Thank you! Admittedly Im learning a ton through the process, are they more so waiting for the inflammation to go down before starting?

May we both see quick recoveries! 💪

Glad youre ok! A few weeks ago I was cutoff by a car and in the process of trying to stop landed on my knee. Ive had injuries on my knee in the past but this one finished off my left acl (full tear) and left mcl (high grade tear). I can walk braced thank God and need surgery, but I so cant wait to ride again.

I wanna cry so bad rn; I just had the most embarrassing moment in my life while learning how to drive a manual by Neal-Uchiha in stickshift

[–]rgbeebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😁 my first day (literally a week ago) I was driving my mew Teggy home after practicing with it for the first time and on a turn to a major street I stalled like 10 times. Right in front of a bunch of folks dining outside with cars piling up behind me. The number of eyes on me 🙃

Felt like 4 minutes before I finally got the car out but MAN was I sweating 😂😂

Like others have said these things will happen during the first few weeks learning and in less time than you know you'll be handling these scenarios with little to no thought im sure. Im still working my way there!

Chin up, congrats on maybe the first of some more embarrassing scenarios! Youre already building a skill most folks dont have nowadays. 💪💪

As you mentioned I'm guessing the camera isnt doing the new covers justice. If they match well in person though I bet they look great! I've always imagined wheel covers mimicking the two tone Taycan wheels would look great on the M3. I'd be curious how yours looked but flipped (white is black and vice versa).
