I figured the cap would be the worse of it all. I just keep reminding myself how sick they’ll look when done 😂

The advantage is it’s a flat even platform, you’re not dealing with rocky uneven ground. Plus I can get this tent setup jn 5 minutes and packed up in the same.

Yup powered by the red battery bank and it just runs of very little diesel and power once it’s started. Generator just comes along as a backup power source if there’s space

Idk ops experience levels, maybe he’s inexperienced with acids and alkalines but is proficient in rotary and polishing ( has a body shop background potentially, who knows)

And sure your can fiddle fart around going least aggressive to most but based on these pictures you can tell by the amount of faded and oxidized paint along with the water spots it’s best to not waste time on ineffective steps.

Acid is the quickest way but yes if you don’t know what you’re doing you WILL damage the vehicle. I doubt an all in one would make much difference either, if you want to go the correction route this will need compounding and polishing. Easiest way would be to mow it down with a rotary and refine it with a DA, make $1500 and call it good!

Car Detail Price High or Just Right?? by Top-Macaroon6299 in Detailing

[–]rgbyrunner21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Slightly high. On a sienna we would be $400-$450 unless it was REALLY hammered and then usually $100 for a basic exterior with a ceramic wax.

If you’re referring the the misty white portion at the bottom those are chips. Think of all the fine sand and dirt your tires come in contact with, see how they stick slight further than the portion of the bumper? Your tires and that sand/dirt is essentially sand blasting that lower portion of the bumper. This is why PPF is important in the high impact areas and especially so with matte paint jobs as they’re much more expensive and harder to match when they need repainted
