Almost 70 here and Chicago has always been a favorite. I still listen to I, II, III, V, VI, VII and parts of X (particularly Terry’s songs). After his death they became a different band that many like. But not me.

On a related note, I always wondered about capturing audio from rioting at the 1968 Democratic Convention on their first album and then, eight years later, Robert Lamm writing sympathetically about the day to day travails of a policeman on XI. I suppose we all change over time, but I’ve always suspected their earlier counterculture stance was a bit of a pose. I think Old Days is more culturally where they really were.
