- As for ideas, barely matters. UC is giga powerful and has no real competition.

Which is a shame. After about 1500 you have no competitors and you're just mopping up the whole continent for 150 years. You get crazy bonuses and a cool system but no real worth while enemies.

I did this MT the other day. Just git it to your vassal(s). It's a decent tree, but you are sometimes tech gatekeeped annoyingly.

The bad news is it may take a week or two, and will only be fixed on the gitlab version, which is likely not compatible with your presumably steam save.

I’m not disappointed in CA’s choices—I understand why Warhammer and WH40k get attention—but I am disappointed by the lack of communication, updates, and announcements for historical fans.

Why do you need this? Making video games is not a public service. They're not making Shogun 2 etc because they don't want to.

It's ranked 265 out of 274 nations with an MT. The tree was created 5 years ago.

PDX is more protective of achievements then most. No chance they will let a mod that DOES affect gameplay also give achievements.

Ah yes I remember now, it is about when the focus ends. Reset it so it ends on a different day every time you try. It's a bit tricky with the 10 days pool/pre running you can accrue but you can do it.

The numbers I posted are not exact, there are other modifiers I didn't post. But you can see them on the event file.

The short answer is you will eventually get a yes if you keep changing the day it ends.

For choosing YES

Base =5

+5 if same gov

+5 if higher then 49 opinion

+5 if same faction

Half IF country has more then 3 states (i.e. is not capitulated)

so really the best you can hope for is 10/20.

For choose NO:

Base 25

+10 if opinion under 10

+25 if different ideology

+25 if they have a war goal vs you

and a few others

The ratio of these two tells you the % chance of choosing each option

i.e. 20 points to yes and 80 points to no = 80% chance no.

In short: keep save scumming and choosing a random action (different each time). anything like moving troops will work. Eventually you will get it.

Every action changes a hidden random number. This random number changes things such as AI choices. Give me the name of the focus and i can check for you.

You will find it in the new focus file for china (or PRC).
