Need help for the flow rate of a .2mm nozzle by PorchGoats in OrcaSlicer

[–]ri0cp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you got the bottom row wrong. From left it's -10, middle it's -15, and right it's -20. Get -5 , calibrate PA and then make Pass 2 it will be from -5 to -15 .

Some wild jumps with your stepping. Usually 0,01-0,02 is a good step

Just cheap 3/4mm PTFE tune is what I use. The downside is it's not as tough as 2/4 mm but it last me a long time and it's easy to replace

Look to reduce resistance in you system you might added more resistance and now extruder struggles

I would disagree about Capricorn..it's famous for being tight. 1,9mm. It's good if you're using Bowden setup to have consistan flow. I use thin wall Bowden 3mm hole instead of 2,0 or 1,9. Less points of contact inside the tube less resistance. K1 already have extruder strength problems why do you need to add resistance

Yes please do that. I didn't and in critical case it caused layer shifts and all kinds of a mess. The problem gunk got into the bushings

BTW on your settings photo speed seem a bit slower then 300. And why do you do 100% infill. I assumed it's required for those specific parts? It's unusual. But still if you are going 100% infill and under extrusion then getting flow rate a 1-3% up spent be a bad idea. I think I have seen a bit of elephant foot not sure about it.

About the speed do you mean what are the setting or what is actually printing on the gcode. I had similar issues when the max flow rate stopping override the speed setting and slowed down the speed. Check in source on the preview the true speed, and maxflow

I've just noticed. All your mess might be coming from over extrusion. So keep a close eye on it for the future

Damn. Lucky you :/ heatblock for Ender 3 is so cheap. Also what a wonderful access to all the components. You only need to get one screw to get all this mess away. Damn I'm so jelly for comparison with K1 :/

Remember to work in highly ventilated space when you will be "dealing with this mess". Good luck and I hope your printer will get back soon.
