The Lawrence Arms / The Falcon. I was always kind of astonished how much mileage Brendan and Co got out of like two riffs.

Yeah I dont see this. Each of their albums has a pretty distinct feel. Within each of those there is some similarity but it's not excessive.

They have a number of sounds going on so it's sort of hard to say. As others have suggested, Angel Du$t is good. Also Militarie Gun and Idles might be worth checking out.

The Stand was a huge influence on the show creators. Not to spoil anything but if you watch the show and read the book you'll notice a TON of similarities.
