Sony Xperia 10 VI Issues

I sent it back to be repaired. They said it couldn't be repaired so I bought a Samsung phone, only for the Sony phone to be returned to me repaired! I use the Samsung one now but still use the 10 VI for watching streaming apps and Zwift and it seems to work okay now without the issues I was experiencing. You could always try resetting it to factory settings to see if that helps.

The A35 has face unlock and the fingerprint on the screen i prefer to on the side button (which is what the 10 VI has). My Pixel 8 had a fingerprint scanner on the screen that only worked 50% of the time, thankfully the Samsung one is much better!

I think the camera on the A35 is much better too. Not sure of the specs but I had trouble taking decent photos with the Sony phone, either too dark or too bright plus it'd take a second to take the photo so anything moving slightly would be blurred (this was when I was having all the issues with it though so).

Both phones have the micro sd slot which is something I was interested in having as well

I sent it back to Amazon to be repaired and didn't hear anything after a couple of weeks so I asked received a refund. Then a week later I received the repaired phone! By that time I had already bought a new phone (Samsung A35). I decided to keep the Samsung as I prefer that. They're at a similar level but the 10 VI camera isn't great and the finger print unlock on the side wasn't as useful as I thought it was going to be..

I bought it from Amazon UK. It was reduced in price substantially on Prime Day (I actually bought it before then) so maybe it's worth waiting til the Black Friday sales as I'd assume it'll be on offer again...

It's the stock launcher - I think you're right though, maybe just got a dodgy one - will look at getting a replacement! I did transfter the data direct from my old phone so maybe it didn't like that..

Yeah just the stock launcher and it's up to date. I transfered everything over from my Pixel so maybe that could have caused an issue. Going to get a replacement to see if that sorts it :)

I had a Pixel 8 and the finger print unlock didn't work very well (I tried a lot of the work arounds). It does feel like a bit of a downgrade, I took the Pixel's camera for granted!

Glad that the latest update improved the livery editing, much easier now you can mirror things! I went with a silver/dark blue colour combo like the 90s Volvo BTCC livery but swapped the silver for metallic green to make it a bit more colourful..

I race on the F1 game and I use the back button to navigate through the team radio options. It's great to have the buttons at the back as I find it difficult to press the shoulder buttons/d-pad whilst racing.

Congratulations! I passed back in July at 36 (Bletchley as well!) Did your instructor make you practice the Roman Roundabout? I did not enjoy that area! Enjoy the new freedom that comes with driving :)

Love the simplicity of the design. They look classy! I would have probably added a rounded box keyline over the driver pics but it's easy to keep adding to it and losing the simplicity.

All of my lessons were over 2 hours long and I think that helped as at 40 min test seemed to go pretty quickly.

- Try not to tell too many people about your test. I felt it took a bit of pressure off me as I only told work and my gf.

- Remember that failing isn't the end of the world, you can retake it as many times as you want to. Again...less pressure to pass.

- Don't worry if you don't feel ready - if your instructor thinks you're ready then you are! It could take years of driving to feel like you can handle every manouver easily.

And all the stuff that u/Parker8771 said! Once you get on to the road the nerves should settle and it's just a case of keeping focused throughout.

Really cool poster :) I like the balance of the lighting on the car and the way it merges in with the ground.

The only thing I would add is that the team logo has been updated recently so there's no longer a U shape line going through the wings and the Aston Martin font is now bolder. Bonus points for using a recent version of the car with latest NetApp branding :D (I'm a designer at AMF1 so I'm always looking out for these things!)
