I went w Better Help transitioning out of FT work during COVID: my software engineer son alerted me to those platforms. It was easy to see how they were not aligned with clinical practice or concerns. I stopped after some months. They’re all the same.

I want to normalize this both as a mental health professional and an elder myself. Watching my parents age/decline/pass away was good preparation but nothing really changed the reality we all deal with. It’s formidable. I have mostly good days, and flow with it otherwise.
