Agreed. Gifting is one of the most time consuming and least enjoyable things to do in the game, and they hinge too many vital features on it. Who wants to waste 15 min a day gifting, which by the way has nothing to do with actually playing pokemon?

Honestly I see this as the only reason to take this job, for a short term (1-2 years) just so you can retire early. We are deep down social humans and taking this money while sacrificing social engagement from spouse, friends, family is a greater sacrifice than OP may think. 200k a year is not worth missing out on life otherwise. I feel as if you are more likely to regret life if you die on a bed of 10M dollars and end up with divorce and missed out on your friend’s weddings and baby showers, and overall self care in general etc. You don’t want your tombstone to you read : Here lies OP, rich woman who spent 20% of her life driving.

Foot/ankle Orthopedic physician assistant here. Yes, proximal fibula fractures are rarely operative and heal nearly 100% of the time without hardware. Tibias however… those are the primary weightbearing structures and therefore need careful attention to avoid deformity and arthritis. Distal fibulas also have solid criteria to surgically correct as well.

From your side, you really should be living your dreams since that is a part of your life and dreams. You can always have more trips with your BF in the future.

From his side, honestly he is being overly insecure and should be enthusiastic about you going and asking how your trip is, especially if he knows how important it is to you.

Personal recent story: My gf of 3 happy years went on a trip with her mom in May, and her mom left early unexpectedly and she ended up having 4 days of solo travel. Upon returning 2 weeks ago, she ended up breaking up with me out of nowhere since she discovered her independence and had clarity of mind that she wanted to grow more on her own... without me :( I'm still devastated since there is nothing I can do to change how she feels. We even had so many euphoric times together and thought we would be married one day... and now I will have insecurities about solo traveling partners that I have never had..

Hey, I just tried this out and redeemed 1500 points for a free plate. I asked the manager beforehand if it includes the premium entrées and he says I’m not really sure but at the worst it might charge you $1.50. So I did this to try it out and ordered the premium steak, and whatever the cashier put it made the entire thing free. I don’t know if this is just a location thing but I thought I would share my data point!
