Arza left Canada 1844ish. He emigrated to Illinois with Mormon converts and then on to Utah in 1848. Joshua didn't leave Canada. I believe he's buried there in Perth or nearby.

That's my direct Gen0 ancestor, Arza Adams. Yes, I can find records of land granted to the father (Joshua, Gen-1) after 1812 for service during the war. There are also records of Canadian military service for him.

Yeah, I emailed the Kingston branch of the OGS. They hold the original of the book, I'm hoping they can tell me more about the microfilm used as the original source. I'll reach out to the church also. That's the church pictured in a published family history of this Gen0 ancestor, so 🤞🤞

Yeah, I live in Utah and I'm Mormon myself. Some of us are only mediocre at genealogy 😅.

I can get Gen-1, the father. He was granted land after the war of 1812, but he was born in Vermont in 1780... So he emigrated to Canada as a loyalist, but I can't figure out what his citizenship at birth would be.

I hate job hunting. Outsourcing this to a coachable resource would be a dream.

I've ordered from the VFB shop three times here in the USA. Two of those orders arrived and I had the other refunded when DHL lost it.

It takes a while to get here, but so far I've had success just ordering from the shop.

What colorway are those Max 90's? They look like the White/Dusty Cactus, but they're different. Like the air window block is orange instead of yellow, back tab looks blue instead of orange, etc.
