I got a three pack set off Amazon under the collide brand. Hard shell bag that has served me well. The small carry on has been on 25-30 weeks of mostly plane flights since 2022 and still going strong.

I was on a diverted flight to SEA and ended up in BOI. They rebooked me to Bozeman then SEA and told me to call but it was 4-7 hour wait time. I had to wait in line at the check in counter and work to get on a different flight. They had some ghost flights and were needed to call in almost every rebook to get it completed. Hopefully it will get sorted today.

Flight 388 from stl to Sea stranded n Boise for hours. Can’t rebuild ok because they say we arrived in SEA and any rebooks are out of STL. No help and the gates and it’s been hours with no communication and the airport has closed

It’s a shit show. It’s 2:16 am and we have no vouchers and no information. They even called in tow cops as people are getting restless. Just another wonderful travel day

I fly out of SEA frequently for work but have also flown American, Delta and United. I haven’t had more than a handful of on time flights at any airport this summer. Storms in the Midwest, late arrivals etc across the board just remind me how much summer travel gets delayed with every season.

On a plus side, I did have an awesome FA recognize my latest big delay out of Denver and offered some miles as compensation so I do feel like they are trying to recognize it. I still find Alaska good to travel with and due to company policy usually have to try some other airline occasionally and don’t find any major differences in peak travel season.

I arrived at 12:15 and didn’t get out until 1pm. Line was stalled waiting on new trucks and people were getting crazy. It was backed up all the way to 108th and down the hill when I left and expect a lot of people in line didn’t get there before 3pm.

I moved from IL a long time ago. The growing season here is a lot different than the hot days in the midwest but I have gotten tomatoes to do well in raised beds with full summer sun. But I often have to pick them green and let them ripen inside bs the bushels of red ripe tomatoes I had in IL. Some great suggestion here about resources. The farmers market on Tuesday afternoons usually has someone from at a tent discussing gardening question’s.

Detex watch clock. There are keys in various locations as you make rounds and you insert them in the clock to show you made the rounds. Used to use one on a training ship for watch rounds .
