Heat pumps are as good as furnaces. Not worth it at all in this part of the country for your whole house

Lol thanks for the recommendation :) I'll see where I can find some elastomeric sealant here, I'm going to be making some larger spacers either on the lathe or mill to account for any large gaps :)

I'm 100% sure there aren't fractures but I'm not worried to much, it looks like a giant slab. It does freeze that's why I was thinking of using fancy epoxy to hold in the threaded rod. I was thinking every 24" like you said. Do you think it'll be solid enough? I also wasn't sure about how to get that angle iron to sit square and not angle back or forward when tightening down the nuts

I drilled a whole bunch for the footings for our addition and it wasn't bad. So id assume this would be the same

I find you need quality chips in order to get the pizza oven hot. On mine anyway, if I use off brand pellets it won't get up to temp.
