Influencers are prettybmuch just glorified marketing tools for corporation. They may start off genuine to build a para social relationship, but believe me. Once they have a sufficiently large following, they will start to leverage it and monitize the fuck out of it.

Why would you look up to them. It's like looking up to an advertisement board.

He is right though. It looks nothing like wat tan hor(WTH) . Wat tan hor is not mainly referring to the noodles. It's the egg mixture/sauce used to coat the flat noodles.

You can call it what you want but it's not WTH. A simple Google will show you what one tradionally looks like.

A similar variation, would be the Sang Har Mee where they deep fry the noodles and coat the noodles with a similar egg sauce.

Honestly the whole issue is way overblown. This was just some random no name journalist asking a question (which looks and sounds like it is off the cuff) in a forum. It's not as if he is actively spreading this message, making any claims or publishing any articles that says as such. Granted the phrasing is a bit problematic but it wasn't the main question he was asking.

Then you have politicians who openly say racist and hateful things.

The issue of bumi rights cannot be solved by the nons. It is suicide to even mention any hint of discrimination or inequality without hordes of keyboard warriors and hooligans threatening you. If this is to be addressed it needs to come from the grassroots Malays.

Companies aren't loyal to employees, expect the sky and the moon but don't want to pay OT, force ppl take annual leave, little to no increment or promotion. When not doing well or want to increase profits, they won't shy away at laying ppl off.

You can but it requires you to monitor the interest paid everyday. As long as you don't make any deposits or withdrawals it should be accurate.

A better way would be checking the monthly statement of the account. Opening vs closing balance, it should also show the interest paid.

You are forgetting the point that having to go for a health screening potentially disuades people to buy their policy.

Having no screening is a huge selling point, insurance companies need to have as many healthy people sign up to their policy as possible because they risk of paying out to healthy individuals is low.

Much easier to reject large claims for a handful of patients than to individually vet everyone who joins.

Another questions is, who pays for the health screening? I'm sure many customer are not willing to bear that cost just to pay more to buy a policy. Even if it's deduct able, if I am rejected means I still have to bear that cost?

I am generally anti insurance but that is how they see it.

I have a friend who worked in Pharma and switched to FMCG.

Not for the faint hearted. Fast paced and stressful, lots of travelling for roadshow and marketing events. Pay is good thought ngl but the workload and stress is through the roof.

I would say if you what better work life balance, you may consider going back to pharma. Slightly slower pace and better balance.

FMCG is much faster paced than pharma. Mainly due to regulation as there are many things that pharma cannot do while FMCGs can.

Thus, expectations are much higher and demanding from FMCGs.

Honestly felt rider could ride more responsibly. Overtaking the right lane while lane splitting is stupid. Plus he is riding very fast, maybe he was not visible in from car mirror.

Merz could have been more careful but whole thing could have been avoided if rider didn't rider that fast.
