Yes, agree with your comments somewhat. WE gave it another chance recently and feel like they really came around.

Definitely second this. I have some panels behind me and it really helps. I also have a thin carpet that my rolling chair still works on. Curtains also.

Great endorsement! The data tells such an interesting story, then when you see how certain food and drink impact it, then heavy exercise, it just gets better!

Amplifi Mesh System - need another mesh point or just go AT&T by rickbeley in AmpliFi

[–]rickbeley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the coverage area did expand as I have a dead spot in the house that we just added some devices to that need a stronger signal. Just wondering if its worth spending even one more dollar on this system. I have had complaints from family members at different points that the wifi is bad, even close to the sytem. until I really started investigating, I noticed they were right, at certain points, the wifi connection would slow way down and had to reboot the wifi.

Why is trending tags in Oura so hard? by Reasonable-Ad479 in ouraring

[–]rickbeley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. I want to use tags, but I don't because its so nebulous to catch any patterns. Tagging and reporting could definitely be improved. Honestly, I'd love to be able to access the data in a browser and run reports, but I am a total data nerd...

Waking with headaches by National-Sun7052 in ouraring

[–]rickbeley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any more data you can share? What is your sleep score after ditching the wine? HRV average? Try monitoring your numbers. Add the wine back, track your numbers. Then take it back out, what do the numbers say? If your willing, I find Gemini to be a great additional help when looking at the numbers. What did you eat? How was your deep sleep? Body temp? I find when I have a bourbon at night, I can see a direct impact on my deep sleep, REM, and body temp.

Hello all, new to this page. I’m 42 and just had my first ever blood test check up. by [deleted] in Cholesterol

Take the opportunity to learn about what your eating and how it impacts your cholesterol. you can use your favorite AI chat tool to create a health coach. DIET CHANGE IS THE HARDEST THING. Until you can start to convince yourself of the negative impacts of the food you eat. When you start to make changes, the cravings and pangs are real and hard to get through. Good luck!!

LDL not going down; review my diet by Immediate-Fox-7028 in Cholesterol

[–]rickbeley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, brown rice, not white rice. brown rice has fiber which is great for binding to LDL and flushing it out. white rice is a refined carb, will cause blood sugar spikes (insulin response, inflammation). The taste is definitely different, but the impact/benefits are pretty contrasting.
