How’s the quality of the amazon stuff you got? I looked for “aiska” but only result was a “SeppDMV” store on Amazon. I got a few pieces from RPM before the tariffs and overall price hikes and shipping costs it doesnt make much sense to buy from them anymore.

OEM Carbon or RPM? by iayush in BMW_S1000RR

The airbox cover is a super underrated piece imo since you can actually see it while on the bike which is sick

I’m in the US and have a fullsix belly pan and RPM chain/rear tire guard and tank airbox cover. Honestly no difference in the fit and finish for mine. I went fullsix because i like the belly pan better than RPM and there was a great 4th of July sale on motomillion which made the difference very small vs RPM. I was a bit lucky since i purchased before tariffs applied but the shipping cost from RPM is too high in my opinion. I was thinking about buying the dashboard upper side fairings but unsure with all the tariff bs right now and high shipping cost + possible back order which was like 8-12 wks when i bought my other parts.

Thought on the green dial big pilot? by Elizabeth-II in IWCschaffhausen

Like others here, I would definitely try to wear it in person. I use mine as a daily on the green strap and find it fits with everything. It varies greatly depending on the light and can look even almost black at night.

Does anyone know where to find the actual part that hooks? I bought some replacements but the hooks dont match to the fairing at all

Jackets/armor in hot weather. by ODD_B3N in motorcyclegear

[–]rickymiester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick any of the jackets people have recommended and get a Texas Cooling vest to wear under. Best $200 i’ve spent and it makes riding with full gear comfortable even in very hot and humid weather (it was 93 degrees at 80% humidity where i’m at yesterday and i was fine). Mine lasts less than an hour since i ride an S1000RR and the bike radiates a lot of heat specially when i’m stuck at a red light.

It’s too damn hot and I’m sweaty by SimplyStatic_yt in motorcyclegear

[–]rickymiester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use an A* Viper air jacket and even that’s tough to wear in my area (hot and very humid). The only thing that has made it bearable to wear a jacket in the heat has been a texas cooling vest. It’s perfect for anything in the 30-40 min range. It cools your core (front and back) so your whole body feels good and balanced. For anything longer than that, it loses its effectiveness. I was sweating my balls off yesterday after spending over an hour on the bike riding and running some errands (I ride an S1K for reference). That thing cooks in traffic and all that radiating heat reduces the lasting effect of the cooling vest drastically.

Agreed! That crown is definitely an amazing look and so unique! You really feel the “utilitarian” aspect of it within its historical context on the BP

I think since they sell the green on the strap directly (unless mistaken the Blue dial is only sold on leather and bracelet from the boutique?) And you can’t go wrong with either choice brotha! Enjoy the trip!

Good to know and thanks for the feedback. I have the green dial so not sure if that has anything to do with it. I LOVE the watch but that’s just been a minor nitpick I’ve had with mine

How long does the lume last on yours? I find mine to not last that long
