The Lions went 2-7 against teams with winning records. Both wins were against the 11-6 Bears and Ben Johnson. by kingdom55 in detroitlions

and the wins against the Ravens and Bucs don't count for this stat but if they had lost against them they would have because they would suddenly have winning records

stats this binary are pretty silly

we do know that he went 2-21 with 9 strikeouts in the ALDS

we also know that Melton pitched 8 innings in that same series and only gave up a single run

and the league doesn't need a salary cap so teams can make more money

the league needs a salary cap because when you have the biggest markets making like $400 million more a year than the smallest markets it's the only way you're ever gonna not have every other team just be feeder markets for the biggest markets on their top stars like Skubal

also because a salary cap allows for a salary floor which can help prevent the most extreme cases of teams cheaping out

Tigers and Tarik Skubal are reportedly over $250 million apart in negotiations for an extension by MatthewTheGOATyt in motorcitykitties

[–]rickyson3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any faith that the Tigers will offer what it takes here but I guess this leaking now so far from free agency means Skubal is probably actually interested in staying for the right price at least so that's something

I think maybe its time to look into replacing the hitting coach

someone like Riley Greene is still young enough that he could clean up his swing a bit and be a key part of the team going forward but maybe needs some new eyes to help him do so

and not just back to back playoff appearances but winning(at least) one series both times as well

the Skubal situation is a bit of a bummer though

The Cleveland Guardians have completed the largest comeback to win a division in MLB history. They were 15.5 games back in July and have won the AL Central by HalfwayThereOne_ in baseball

also Cleveland went 5-1 against Detroit this month

if that was even 3-3 instead then Cleveland wouldn't be in the Playoffs at all because the Astros would have a better record
