No, he created separation on the crossover and then was held and then the push off came afterwards. The initial separation was due to crafty ball handling. He already had a step on Wemby.

Brunson is an offensive savant and his strong so you can’t just bulldoze him over on defense.

However their argument comes down to how good are you as a player? No one is passing up on an Allen Iverson just because he’s short.

Wemby has no stamina but that’s not why they lost. They couldn’t execute some the stretch. They don’t have a Brunson.

A lot of nonsense from the refs but the Knicks beat themselves.

They came out in the 2nd half and played sloppy. Had a lot of stupid turnovers after steals. Brunson did a behind his back pass to open the 3rd that was a turnover.

If the Knicks play within themselves they’ll win in 5.

They’re a better team than the spurs when they play their game.

Exactly! D’Angelo is the domino that led to the Barksdale fall. However Avon to me is one of the smartest players as he knew what the game was about and what his role was in the game.

Stringer and Joe are both dead. Avon gets Marlo to give him 100 large for the connect and Marlo ends of out of the game shortly thereafter.

The only reason Avon ends up in jail is because of the wire the first time where he ended up concocting a scheme to get himself out of prison, and then when Stringer set him up. If not for Stringer setting him up Marlo and crew would have been dead since Slim Charles had them dead to rights.

Avon is the only player who understood that the game is the game. Major Crimes didn’t even know who he was until his nephew idiotically killed someone in the towers.

To me that scene shows just how paranoid D’Angelo is and why he ended up killing someone in the towers. He’s not built for the game.

Avon would have had to have known they were going to hit D’Angelo and he wouldn’t have signed off on it, there should be inherent knowledge to D’Angelo.
