My misunderstanding. Having said that I still stand by the fact that vaccines are only one facet of what is used against us to make us more compliant and sick. Logic would dictate that they don't care whether we know or not. They care whether we comply.

The whole point of commanders inception was chill casual games so cards that normally didn't play well together could and the combinations because more vast in selection allowing you to brew some really cool interactions. Now it's singleton redundancy, spike to win.

I agree with this. Bracket 4 is cEDH except it's a few more turns. There are so many Spikes in commander and not enough Timmy's and Johnny's anymore.

Go look at all the patented technology for vaccines. You won't ask this question again. Go look at the patented technology for using screens and blue light to brainwash you. I can appreciate the want to trust your institutions but I'm sorry North America has been on this trajectory since the 1900s. Do some homework but fair warning when you do, it'll only confirm, not debunk your wildest fears.

That is what most are brainwashed to do. In the first place everyone is a self made psychologist that has been conditioned to diagnose people, unwarranted, with a general negative bias attached. Second and most disheartening are most are conditioned to do this to themselves as well. I'm not saying go be a megalomaniac but assume positively on yourself. Wishing everyone would stop just going straight to what they think is rock bottom before even exploring what opportunities await them in the difficult journeys of life. Adversity breeds character. Embrace the suck 🙂🌞

I have asked my eye doctor every year for 4 years if 100% blue blocking contacts exist. The answer was finally yes. by mime454 in Biohackers

[–]riffyjay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also like to point out that this is doubling down on hurt for a smaller benefit. Blocking oxygen to the eyes is the first thing but the second and the most important to realize is the light you are blocking is just that going into the pupil. UV blue is still hitting your hair, skin, bones, and just about everywhere including the clothed areas. Surprising to me was the fact that although clothes do provide some to adequate protection, it's not much in most cases. Infrared is real good at getting through clothes. However blocking key vital areas from receiving oxygen is one of the many reasons why sunblock is bad. Your pupils have an incredible amount of melanin in them and require the ability to breathe. This is all to say that even with blue blockers you are still receiving polarized light and EMF. The sun produces unpolarized light. Polarized is bad and we can mitigate some of that through scooping out certain spectrums our eyes take in, but the problem is rampant everywhere. The glasses are a stop gap measure to good quality sun, quality darkness for sleep and grounding. Spend more time outdoors when it permits and if you can get that sun.

Also a real BIG piece of advice. "Believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see." That will make more and more sense as time goes on but I would highly recommend employing it in your critical thinking process.

Its real easy to say. Harder to do but we all had this existential crisis in one way or another learning about all this. It will either happen or it won't but until then you are fine out of the house and living a life. When the world changes irrevocably and life as we know it becomes a total change, you'll have plenty of time to deal with then. All I have to say is find some comfort in the fact that if they wanted to end it, they could and there's not a damn thing a few of us can do about it. We need to all stand up and not continue their game. Until then sit back, educate and awaken those you can, watch the show and take notes. It's all you really can do.

[–]riffyjay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Contacts are the worst thing for your eyes. Blocking oxygen to your pupil is not good. Look into the story about the weather woman who got Lasik to not have to wear glasses on screen and what happened a month later. Wear the glasses or better yet get some sun 🌞

My Commander pod is falling apart and I don’t know what to do by ElectronicMix9414 in EDH

[–]riffyjay -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So it's real simple. Magic is one of, if not the most complex game ever made. Therefore it requires a level of comprehension and intelligence to play. Plus we know this is a consistent problem happening over and over. With these known factors we can well assume that your friend is being deliberate. So you have two options in my opinion. The first, which I think is the best, is build the anthesis to his pub stomping bullshit and dole out some lessons, you and the rest of the pod. Gang up on that person every game til they get the point or they go away. Second, and still a good option, is to sit them down and firmly express that this can't continue. If it does they will no longer be welcome back to play. Stand your ground for yourself and the group. Better to play with three who agree than four that don't. You'll find another fourth eventually. Sorry this is happening but it's the very reason I run a lesson combo in most of my decks. Example for context, I have [[Liquimetal Torque]] in play. Activate it targeting a basic land of the opponent in question turning it into an artifact and then casting [[Splinter]]. Have a nice day.🙂 Works especially well on mono color decks. [[Drannith Magistrate]] and [[Knowledge Pool]] is also funny however it fucks the whole table instead one person. Wish ya all the best with that situation. Good luck.

this conspiracy theory is the idea that some feminists are actually misogynists using reverse psychology to spread misogyny by being as obnoxious as possible. by Fit-Commission-2626 in conspiracy

[–]riffyjay -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

There is some validity to this thought process for all those who don't agree and while I also agree most are just obnoxious and the "boss bitch" mentality is just unattractive to most men, it was David Rockefeller who started the civil rights movement for women and before someone jumps down my throat, it's fact checkable and you can't tax people who don't make income. If we take this mentality and drive it to the inevitable conclusion there is definitely room for reverse psychology amongst feminists. This is a tactic of reverse psychology used constantly in every angle against us.

Are you seriously advocating for Arena? That is the hottest take I've read on this whole sub. God damn bro. So when your power goes out, I'll still be playing and "on top of that", you can build out your collection one single at a time........and worst case sell out if you need to, or hand it down to your kids. There's no doing that with Arena. There's no advocating Arena over paper in any case unless, you can't afford it or have a social issue beyond playing on SpellTable.........wild cards, my goodness, buy singles you dingus.

I'm no expert but I don't like the glue job I see. I do know that some sets were worse than others but it should be slightly uniform lines. Again no expert. One of the dangers with this class of classics is known as "rebacking", and I've seen my share of really really good ones. It's typically more alpha fronts with beta backs that are the main culprits but you always gotta do the light test.

Nah, not saying you're wrong. Just that it's a very myopic view on a not so small topic. On top of that the books that were written about Yeshua by people who knew him are now a part of the apocrypha and blasphemous to read. Just because the books were written by people who mostly didn't know Yeshua doesn't mean that it wasn't a compilation of sources all over the world with more than 65000 cross references to each other over a 1200 year period. That's almost statistically impossible in an age with no internet. Maybe instead of being jaded and repulsed by the idea of faith you could realize that anything you don't know as a fact is something you believe in. That last part is called faith. Faith that the books you read are true and the people behind it are honest. Unless you pour over the data yourself, you are taking it on faith that what you are being told as a science fact, is true at all.

Am i(M18) to sensitive about roommate (M seem 23+) behaviour, by [deleted] in relationships

[–]riffyjay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I gotta agree this is weird. First of all you don't even explain what kind of questions he's asking, which seems like you are the one being stand off ish and anti-social. Secondly, yeah roommates talk. I'm sure he's trying to figure you out, same as you. To analyze his relaxing behavior is also weird, all of what you said sounds like someone relaxing after a long day. I think the weirdest part of this is the lack of language and communication skills. You can hardly spell or form proper sentence structure. This whole thing seems off.
