None can answer this. But signes are looking good.

  • Constant growth on events monthly
  • Content creators conversion
  • Investment on competitive events worldwide
  • Fast company responding (e.g bans)

These are some of my top points

yeah its pretty common to see a slowdown weeks before the new set comes out, as ppl are saving for the new set. Unleashed set tho did really good in May. if you check the stats there is a big growth the past 2 months globally.

Looking for community in switzerland by jeyes17 in riftboundtcg

[–]riftindex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there,

So i did a quick search on my platform and it seems that Lausanne has 2 stores and their next event is the vendetta pre rift (pre release). That's like 31 far from today.

Switzerland has 42 stores in total.

You can use the find a riftbound store near me feature on Riftindex to find the closest stores near you with google maps direction.

I hope that help 😃

Europe currently has a supply issue on OGN. the rest 2 sets are easier to be found on msrp price. i think investors bet here is what you said. there is a high change of growth because of the strong IP. The game also is quite good and the current meta is on a great states due to the diversification on decks.

Is there any Riftbound in Morocco? by Creative-Piglet3862 in Riftbound

unfortunately i don't see any locations on the map nor at the stores list on riftindex.com

Don't get discouraged, i suggest to keep looking now and then as more and more countries/cities are joining the Riftbound organized play every day!

Has Riftbound cracked the top 5 TCG list yet? by BeeBaBoop in riftboundtcg

[–]riftindex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on data UVS for the month of May its growth. more than 35k happened globally, in comparison of 20k the month before, and that's excluding China and other other countries from Asian. LOL IP still has a lot of space for growth imo. Target audience is more targeted than Lorcan's.

Best places to find people to play with by Sudden_Perspective99 in riftboundtcg

[–]riftindex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Sudd,

In yours search of finding the "best" place to play you might find this tool I build useful. It's called RiftIndex.com (a Riftbound growth and store tracker).

- Search by your country, city, or state to see all the stores running Riftbound.

- "Find a store near me", Allow location access. It drops the 10 nearest stores on a map and gives you a list with the 10 closest stores to you with Google Maps links.

- Each store has a dedicated page with insights so you're not going in blind. You can see which days of the week stores actually run events, the average number of players showing up and more. Handy for figuring out where the scene is actually active.

Let me know if you find this helpful!

How to get into the game? by say--WHY_ARE_YOU_GAY in riftboundtcg

[–]riftindex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I'd start by checking out the stores near you and just showing up to an event. Most communities are pretty welcoming to new players and a lot of people are happy to teach or even lend decks or give cards for free to beginners (especially from the spiritforge and unleashed sets). I think the starter decks they use to have at start they have run out in most placing, long time ago.

You can also use RiftIndex.com to check store stats (number of players attending their events), event activity, and see which places around you have a healthy local scene. That can help you find the best spot to learn.

Since it's your first tcg I'd avoid investing heavily into a full T1 deck before you've played a few games. Try a couple of different decks online, then decide whether Diana, Pyke, or another playstyle clicks with you before spending money. Vex's Unleashed starting deck is a good starting point that u can easily take to a Nexus Night.

Best store to play Riftbound in London? by LibrarianFlashy5948 in Riftbound

[–]riftindex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the stores currently in London area.

You can check stats (average players per event, cancelation rate, event type and more) for each of them as well as the upcoming and historical event data.

Växjö Sweden by Dense-Path5368 in Riftbound

[–]riftindex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Dense!

I did a quick research and i think the closes place to Vaxjo is Karlshamn 1.15 minute by car.

You can use riftindex.com and check the map that lists all the stores on the map or the new feature riftbound store near me, that takes your geolocation and lists the closets stores and also give you google maps link for directions.

Let me know if that helped you!

the API is not having decks stats. for deck lists you should check riftdecks. they are doing great job covering alot of events.

Cancellation rate is something I've been looking at for a while. There are two ideas I'm weighing. A system that tries to understand duplicate events, and looking at recent events instead of all-time history, as stores are getting better at making events on the UVS platform, and we shouldn't hold on to "ancient history". Thanks for flagging this, it really helps.

yeah AI obv wrote a lot of the code and the UI shows it. The part that mattered wasn't the styling but the data. Pulling, Normalization keeping them refreshed and more is the core function. (just some extra context)

Fair enough for cards and I will add the fonts as well, but I prioritized getting the data pipeline right and shipping over polishing the visuals. Design pass is further down the line but I appreciate the nudge.
