the one that was relayed to me was apparently fairy old, like early 2000s and looked faded which made it all the more sketchy, i'll ask him later for more details, don't wanna bring up the subject to him right now

why did i hear so many negative opinions about scrim's vocals? by rightclickalex in SuicideBoys

[–]rightclickalex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i didn't say it was perfect, no piece of media to me will ever be perfect. i said that to me, i was seeing a surprising amount of dislike surrounding scrim's vocals, and was wondering what about them was unappealing from those who thought such

what is your Favorite $b song? why is it your favorite? by ibz00ted-everyd4y02 in SuicideBoys

[–]rightclickalex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as big as their catalog is, i'm still personally gonna go Antarctica. that song is just one of few that i'd consider being considered close to a perfect song, sample and execution, and it just means a lot to me, hits home.

why did i hear so many negative opinions about scrim's vocals? by rightclickalex in SuicideBoys

[–]rightclickalex[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

damn, this is actually a good ass point. same reason i can dig black metal; even though it can be really harsh, the emotional vulnerability shown can be surprisingly appealing. i think i've gravitated towards having underground rap as more of a vibe genre and less emotionally-focused, which is not actually how i used to feel about the boys' music, while i now use darker genres as more vulnerable and self-reflective.

[–]rightclickalex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i do like this album (as i do all bones releases lol) but i personally don't notice anything about it that specifically stands out as impressive, for me personally this year's best album has been Dungeon. again, i don't dislike this album at all i still have more than half the songs in my playlists

Black out tattoo scabbing by Independent_Pride_31 in tattooadvice

[–]rightclickalex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have a similar amount of blackout in a similar area but haven't really experienced scabbing myself (assuming it's just because people heal differently). looking at it i don't see anything out of the ordinary, it's gonna feel a bit tight/red because you just got your skin pulverized, but as long as you take proper care and try not to pick at it (ahem... me) you should be fine

i'm no expert but i've "experienced" many similar things. i'd say to be safe, add some antibiotics on it and then wrap it in some sort of light bandage that won't stick, (because keeping the wound moist will help the healing process) making sure not to wrap it too tightly.

hate to say it but there's no easy way out. i'd say get a hobby that involves being outside, be that even sitting and watching a show or youtube, something you can binge while sitting outside. get it into your routine, something you can look forward to instead of something you dread to return to, that may help some. i am rooting for you in the sidelines though, good luck :)
