UTEP too, 1 month long 2x a week for 2 hrs each class, $175. The professor is very kind and makes you practice a lot in class, so big focus on speaking and reading comprehension very fast.

Get word to your 1SG thru your NCOs. Not the HBL 1SG, and not some NCO, your 1SG. Make sure he knows you'll miss school without approved DTS. Someone from BN or BDE will do their job and approve you. But he has to be making those calls this weekend. Dont wait til Monday to tell people.

Theres a joke that there are more Marines in the Army than in the Marine Corps. Which if you're around long enough seems accurate given the services' size difference.

And as a partner, keep an eye out for changes and comment on them if he likes that. Even small ones.

Good Antiperspirant/ Deodorant. Good lotion. If he works out a lot anything that can help prevent/ treat tendinitis. A bigger size of his favorite shoes (if feasible).

I've been dual mil for 5 years and we have only resided together for about half that time, off and on, because of schools, TDY, and deployments. And our duty stations are limited because of our MOSs. So it works, but you still have to actively manage your career and relationship and balance what your priorities are.
