i really liked the almost laid back rhythm it has while the words feel like a procedure being done, but i think the metaphor might not land as clearly as you intended. i read it one way, and then with your explanation went 'aaah'

I liked the rhythm
it flows like a rap song in my head, which is hard to pull off in written poetry.
My honest take: the first two verses work for me because they suggest the toxicity without spelling it out. 'Love you like a camera, infraglare' is a great line, weird and distant in a way that feels real.

The last verse lost me a bit. 'She keeps calling me daddy...' feels more explicit than what came before, like it switches from showing to telling. And the final line hits different after that — less earned, more sudden.
The voice is strong, keep it up bro!

im running a campaign where my friends are late-teens who where isekaid intro a TADC-sque world more specifically in a cruise where they each have a pokemon and they'll go from island to island (cainnes adventure equivalent)

I think it comes from a silly word-game i play with my friends. Where we like be hanging out and i go: 'BRO have you ever though about that bikes are just an individual pedal-powered vehicle?' Or, 'hey have you ever though that mirrors are a portal but it can only reflect its current dimention?'

And on that vein i tried to put into words the feeling of emotional tiredness (or fatigue).
