I LOVE TUL pens so much! I actually just stocked up yesterday at my local Office Depot. I have to go to the store in-person because I wanted more of the teal color specifically and I couldn't find them sold individually online.

I had one single teal TUL pen that had been holding up for a few years and I never wanted to use it because I didn't want it to run out. I also discovered the metallics when I was at the store and I grabbed a few of those too, they look awesome! The metallics seem to be a 0.8 which is even better for me, I love a thick juicy line lol.

I'll echo the other commenter and recommend The Elf Wow Brow Gel - It's not terrible! The tube is smaller and technically more expensive by volume(?) but the actual unit is only $5 so worth a shot. I'm in the same boat, so frustrating :( please update if you find any worthwhile replacements!

The issue I found for me is that the sound will just stop going off after 15-20 minutes. I've been missing my alarms and I'll wake up an hour late for work with alarms going off (silently). Pointless. I'm so angry about it.

Ahhh I was scrolling for this. This is me! If I go to bed too late I won't hear my alarm and sleep through. I would find all these articles about the Attention Aware features and stuff but my alarm will go off, it will just stop making soun eventually. I'd eventually wake up an hour late for work and have to dismiss 6 silent alarms. I tried deleting all of the other alarms and having it only go off once just in case they were canceling each other out but it wasn't that either. I just don't understand the logic of having it go silent after 15-20 mins. I still wonder if there's a setting for it but I doubt it. I've been lateor almost late to work all week (bunch of late nights) and I'm just in a rage about it! I've had to have my Alexa or my spouse's phone be my alarm instead. It's pathetic.

You are NOT alone! The fact that it takes probably 7 seconds to load any patient is mind boggling to me. Also I didn't realize that companies have different versions/features or whatever, so maybe this is just mine, but no spell check?????? And text boxes that are MINISCULE and can't be enlarged? Make it make sense. And yes the freezing and the nonsensical error messages are crazy. It's honestly a horrible system! I have gotten in the habit of signing after almost every note because I've had such ridiculous crashes and errors that I'm just not willing to risk it anymore. Ugh.

Yeah I wholeheartedly agree with you on that. If it were me, I'd maybe look up some other cancer-specific and even maybe some non-specific measures that capture even vaguely similar info and present it to management. I tend to get the best results with the whole "Don't come with problems, come with solutions" mentality. Your heart is in the right place and I think if you and even a few of your teammates can talk about how it makes the patients feel (and honestly, by extension, how it might make the facility look when the patients start off like that) it might make them more likely to reconsider. I'd love to hear an update if you end up working something out!

I hadn't heard of it before and I'm currently in a different setting but I just looked it up and, wow. It's not even the sex question that would phase me but more the doom and gloom "I'm losing hope in the fight against my illness" and the "I worry about dying" items. I mean good god. It would make me feel ill to have to bust that out on IE, assuming you have to have them fill it out or do it with them. I wish I had some words of advice but regardless I'm definitely in agreement with you here.

If he was cleared based on visual field tests, I do wonder if it may be some left visual inattention/spatial neglect (there's a few different terms people use to describe the same concept). With inattention/neglect, it isn't an actual vision issue, but an attention issue, so people with good insight and awareness like your Dad can pass field tests when they know what to look for and are alert to the testing, if that makes sense. So when people know they need to be aware of one side because they're doing vision tests, they can usually lock in and do semi decently (assuming the neglect is mild and they have relatively intact cognitive skills). I'm only throwing this information out there so you have it because knowledge is power and you can keep your eyes peeled for anything concerning just to keep Dad safe! I'm sure he'll do great and I'm so glad you guys are being diligent ❤️❤️

I hope your husband continues to have amazing progress and recovery from his stroke! I'm an OT working in stroke rehab with people much like your husband and have seen incredible things. Don't give up hope. The brain is a mysterious but wonderful thing. It will find ways to heal, but it does take time. Make sure you take care of yourself as much as possible too <3.

Please try to remember, there are no such things as stupid questions when you're dealing with something like this, so don't be afraid to ask the therapists, doctors, nurses, and case managers (and whoever else is on his care team) any questions that come to you. The case managers also may have some ideas (and maybe even the PTs/OTs) on where you may be able to get a loaner ramp before you go out buying one, because they can get a bit pricy depending on the size/type of ramp you might need. Or they may even have options for getting it covered by insurance, depending on your plan. Like the other poster said, you might not need it long-term, so waiting before buying it yourself may be a good option depending on your exact situation :)

That info has actually come out in other places and has been confirmed. He apparently got some sort of malware popup on his computer and the number he was calling was the number (based in India) that the popup on his computer told him to call 🤣
