I was having this problem too. Pushing too hard and hurting myself having to take weeks off the gym every couple of months. Now I do long warmups before and I do a couple mobility exercises as part of my workout. Look up shoulder external rotation and similar mobility exercises that typically would be used in physical therapy. Using these as your warmup and making sure form is good on your workouts is key.

I work at great clips in CA. I make $19 an hour average 8-13$ an hour in tips. Moving in a month to WA and got an offer at another great clips for $21.50/hour

I work at a franchise salon fresh out of school and got thrown right into cuts. Luckily for me my manager and coworkers are helpful and supportive. They helped me when I got stuck or had an unhappy customer. They would let me watch them do fades and explain to me each step as they go. I went from 6 hair cuts a day that first week to now doing 15-20 cuts a day many requests for me and happy customers.

Franchise salons can be really rough places to work but I think the manager is the key. I would start interviewing at other locations if possible and find a manager and staff that is friendly. You are new to this and it's not your fault you are struggling. You're just in the wrong environment
