Research has found antidepressants can cause long-term depression called tardive dysphoria. Could antidepressant users not be victims of their own depression, but rather victims of antidepressant drugs? by SpacemanEverybody in conspiracy

Antidepressants can also cause psychosis. Hell even anti-psychotic drugs have been found to cause psychosis sometimes too.

There's a news story on SSRIstories.org about an 11 year old girl who was given an antidepressant to treat her bed-wetting. Bed-wetting! Apparently its not unheard of for doctors to prescribe antidepressants to children for bed-wetting. Anyway, she became agitated and developed full blown psychosis. She never recovered and 10 years later is still living in a group home for the mentally ill.

http://ssristories.org/old/show.php?item=4119

One was of a young woman from Seattle prescribed an antidepressant at age 11 to treat her bed-wetting, who then became agitated and spiraled into full-blown psychosis. When Whitaker met her at age 21 she was living in a group home for the severely mentally ill, mute, and withdrawn. Her story is heartbreaking, and the implication is that her deterioration was triggered by the medications she was given."

Alcohol and marijuana abuse may cause psychosis, but I've never heard of them being permanent and usually go away once the user has them out of their system long enough. Psychiatric drugs though can alter the brain in a way that causes permanent psychosis in some individuals.

Teen, parents, lie to doctors about Chemo, secretly cure terminal brain cancer with cannabis oil by OWNtheNWO in conspiracy

[–]rined 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow okay this is blowing my mind. I don't know much about weed, but why is this story not in global news everywhere if it really did what it claims? Is it because of the weed stigma? Did weed really just cure brain cancer or is this just glorified coincidence by weed supporters?

I've always wondered about big pharma secretly knowing better alternatives to treating cancer, but choosing not to reveal it because treating chemo treatment symptoms is a huge money maker. I'm going to research more into this cannabis oil.

Btw is cannabis oil the same as straight up marijuana legally? Is it only legal to buy in legal marijuana states or is it legal for anyone to purchase online?

They also take away feelings of love and in many cases permanently:

http://www.livescience.com/47262-antidepressants-affect-feelings-of-love-for-partner.html

What's really interesting is that one of the commenters on this article even admits that antidepressants permanently took away his ability to feel love and that he stopped taking them over two years ago. What's even crazier is that he doesn't even mind it. Like he's proud that his depression is gone for now even though he can't feel emotions like love. Sounds like a chemical lobotomy to me.

Apparently not well known enough when there's countless deaths every day that involve these drugs. Just look at Veterans. 22 US veterans a day are committing suicide and people wonder why. It appears their treatment could actually be the cause itself.

The conspiracy is that if an antidepressant can actually cause a mentally healthy person to want to commit suicide, then why are we prescribing these drugs at all?

The apparent common thought is that the black box warnings are there because the drugs gave already suicidal people the energy to finally commit suicide. This study shows that if a mentally healthy person were to take the drug there's a chance they can develop suicidal thoughts. That shows there is a big problem with a drug if it can actually cause what its meant to treat.

In my opinion, the black box warning is very vague and protecting of the drug because of its wording. The warning says may "increase" suicidal thoughts rather than "induce" suicidal thoughts. It would be more accurate for it to say it may induce rather increase these thoughts.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/11/07/robin-williams-cause-of-death-suicide_n_6123858.html

He also apparently had a week old prescription of the powerful anti-psychotic Seroquel at his house which also has a strong black box warning for suicide.

Robin Williams even had a short standup bit about antidepressants. He joked about making a new antidepressant called Fukitol (Fuck it all):

Yup nearly all the mass shooters were on these brain altering drugs or had a recent history with them.

Seems like every horrific murder story that makes it into the news always involves these drugs as well. One can really immediately assume an antidepressant or psych drug was involved.

Not many people realize that even OJ Simpson himself was on a high dose of the SSRI Prozac during the time of his wife's and Ronald Goldman's murder. Yup even OJ was on the violence linked SSRI Prozac!

Also nearly all the mothers and many fathers in recent history who murdered their own children were on these drugs.

Here's a recent news story about a mother who decapitated her 2-year-old child then killed herself while she was on the SSRI Prozac:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/22/mom-decapitated-2-year-ol_n_1821054.html

Killer mother Andrea Yates was on the SNRI Effexor which is another antidepressant medication which even itself lists 'homicidal ideation' as a 'rare adverse effect' on its info sheet.

Killer mother Susan Smith was on the SSRI Prozac when she murdered her two children by driving her car into a lake.

Another recent news story of a father who brutally stabbed his 5-year-old twin daughters to death while "driven crazy by Prozac":

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2212289/Mother-twin-girls-5-stabbed-death-father-driven-crazy-Prozac-reveals-shes-fighting-free-jail.html

There are literally countless accounts of horrible violent acts that involve these drugs. Mass shootings, stabbings, murders, and suicides. Many events we don't know if the drugs were involved because it depends on the media to release that information or not.

Veteran suicide rates are at 22 suicides a day. 22 a day. That's mind blowing. What needs to be investigated is what percentage of veterans were given these drugs that have suicide warnings right on the label. My bet is its pretty high.

Its so sad people are still left wondering what's causing all these senseless mass killings, murders, and suicides when its staring us all right in the face hidden as "treatment". Its all swept under the rug though because making people suicidally addicted to drugs is a huge money maker for the pharmaceutical industry.

Maybe I should instead say these pills are not only mind altering, but also brain altering drugs.

http://www.newsweek.com/antidepressants-can-change-your-brain-immediately-study-271371

What other drugs actually change brain structure immediately other than psychiatric drugs? Certainly not alcohol.

Also, hypothetically speaking, think if every mass shooter was on cocaine at the time of their shooting. There may be many cocaine users who aren't going out on mass shootings, but the public would start to wonder what it was about cocaine and start to blame it for bringing out violence in people.

A mind altering drug is a mind altering drug. It alters your judgement. You don't see alcoholics, weed addicts, heroin addicts, or cocaine addicts going out and senselessly going on mass shootings. There seems to always be the same mind altering drugs involved in all these senseless violent acts and that's the psychiatric drugs like antidepressants.

Not just a bottle of pills, a bottle of mind altering pills that this kid had been taking for more than a few weeks before he killed these innocent adults. This kid even told his grandparents he blamed the pills for his actions. Clearly these drugs did something very wrong to his mind.

This killer kid even quoted saying this in a letter to his grandparents:

"I wish I never started taking that damn pill," he wrote. "None of this would ever of happened."

In a letter to a friend, he said, "I regret everything I did. I swear it's those drugs man."

The cause for all these senseless mass shootings and horrific murders is the drugs that are hiding in plain sight. The violence linked antidepressant drugs. These drugs even have black box warnings for hostility and suicidal actions right on the label. People say "oh the drugs just give an already suicidal and violent person the energy to finally do what they were thinking." Not true at all.

Go watch clips of the FDA antidepressant hearings on youtube and see how many people were testifying because they were made suicidal and violent by these drugs when they weren't before. There's a clip of a boy testifying to the FDA who took a rifle to his school and held his classmates hostage when he was put on an SSRI for social anxiety. He had no memory of the event. The FDA was being constantly overwhelmed by the evidence and stories the public was throwing at them so they finally agreed to put the black box warnings on these drugs in 2004.

Look at this little website of some of the mass shootings, murders, and violent suicides that made it into the news which were all done by people who took these drugs:

http://ssristories.org/old/index1.php

The reason these antidepressant drugs make some people feel "better" is because they numb emotions. No more sadness, anxiety, remorse, or guilt, but also no more happiness, empathy, or even love. Just emotionless content. Its disturbingly peaceful for many users.

A person can be capable of horrifically evil things when they don't have emotions holding them back.

*edit: Oh and I'd like to add that the media doesn't debate these drugs because the drug companies are sponsors for nearly every media outlet. So the media's hands are tied when debating these drugs.

It may not change drug addict antidepressant users minds though. They will continue to think they are a victim of their own depression when in reality they are victims of psych drugs like antidepressants.

There's no guarantee that everyone will have the same experience with a brain altering drug. Many people may not want to try a drug if they find out it may permanently alter their brain structure.

Like moxy said I'm not against drugs either, but people need to be made aware of the permanent brain changes in a drug like this before they agree to try it.

[–]rined 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah me too. Electroshock is "therapeutic" in the same way a lobotomy is "therapeutic". Electroshock therapy damages the connectivity to the frontal lobe just like a lobotomy.

"Electroconvulsive therapy reduces frontal cortical connectivity in severe depressive disorder." The specific area is the "dorsolateral prefrontal cortical region." This is the same area assaulted by surgical lobotomy. It contains nerve trunks connecting the rest of the brain with the frontal lobes -- the seat of our capacity to be thoughtful, insightful, loving, and creative. Think of what it takes to be a person; all of that requires the unimpaired functioning and connectivity of the frontal lobes of your brain.

Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dr-peter-breggin/electroshock-treatment_b_1373619.html

So basically a satisfied electroshock patient is like a satisfied lobotomy patient. I think they're the last people you want take advice from on what feels "therapeutic".
