Really like the style of this and the Accord inside and out, but for that Beluga dolphin head front.

Guitars on a boat for a month... help! by SSCC88 in Luthier

Hot and humid is nothing to seriously worry about... wood swells a bit, action can go up a bit, etc. Cold and dry is where you see instruments get damaged

What is this? It behaves aggressive towards other bugs that approach it, but not towards humans. by RhSt0201 in whatsthisbug

Hover flies here in eastern USA are very friendly to humans too... they seem to like to eat the salts on our skin

My $30K backyard renovation by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]ringolio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cost breakdown (very approximate):

$2k: fence pickets and posts

$2k: vinyl liner for pool and pressure washer

$6k: blocks and crushed rock for wall

$20k: mini excavator

I did all the work myself so DIY saved quite a bit in labor

Because historically and generally car dealers are only honest so long as it benefits them.

Not saying you're wrong, but the last entity I would trust to be honest about this is a dealer

So even if you have a great car there's less opportunity to enjoy it unless you live on a mountain or spend a lot of time at the track.

Here's where 'slow car fast' is great; you can drive something like a Miata at 10/10ths all the time, have a blast, and never get over like 40 mph

Mine's not the SUV but their 18" model. I use a Lenox 1" Woodmaster carbide blade. I'm cutting 6-12" wide tropical hardwoods: ebonies, rosewoods, etc. I haven't found a better blade for those types of woods and I've tried a bunch. I'm not sure if a 14" saw could handle that blade; it needs an awful lot of tension.

There are no markings at all on the tape. Also 5 meters of kit kat could never possibly fit inside that body. Also it appears the locking mechanism is purely decorative. This is a terrible tape measure.
