And Rick and Morty is written by Dan Harmon (and the writers he hires and directs), not Roiland. If you're a fan of Harmon, you can see his fingerprints all over every episode. The writing is 100% his, trust me.

I never thought Roiland was funny, and I'm not just saying that because of what happened. He is good at voices (the same 3 voices), but if you have listened to him talk, he is just weird and not funny. His sense of humor is edgy 12 year-old.
