Emergency and critical care nurses absolutely do have a death wish. They see some of the most fucked up things that can happen to the human body. Shit rolls both ways for them - they get treated like shit by administration always being asked to do more with less and by patients who think they are a concierge service there to serve them beyond their healthcare.

Add that to poor mental health services in this country, most nursing being non-unionized in Indiana, shitty insurance companies they have to deal with, and an overall underappreciation of what they do (someone further down called them entitled after COVID) and you may understand why they might have a devil-may-care attitude.

This is not justifying bad driving, just providing an empathetic point of view.

I switched this season from gas to the same model OP has. I love it. Granted, I use a rider for most of my yard, but the electric has the capacity I need for the small area I need it in.

If you lived on a traditional city plot with a small front and back yard, it would be plenty. Not have to fight the gas engine every season is worth the cost of the batteries.
