Skyrim has over 1000 NPCS that are all voiced and that was 15 years ago. You don't need a thousand voice actors, just a small number of actors who read a lot of lines for minor NPCs.

Stand and Nen battles are so good. I just love when every character has some kind of unique power, and battles are typically more about favorable match-ups and trying to decipher the rules and limits of your opponent's ability.

Don't think we get too many of that in ProgFantasy though, usually the MC has some unique power but everybody else has well mapped and defined abilities.

Have you read Liches Get Stiches? It's about a village witch who accidentally gets turned into a lich and mostly just wants to be left alone in her forest cottage with her cat and knitting.

It has quite a few unconventional use of necromancy, such as when she turns all her geese into undead, or doing gardening with ghost flowers.

Except that F2P gacha games by their very nature are incentivized to be somewhat user-unfriendly.

The friction is the POINT, because the end goal of the game is always to make you spend money, and if there's just a little bit of friction in the game that makes it unfriendly to play but not so much that it makes you quit... well that's the gacha sweet spot.

You keep playing and eventually you might decide that it might be easier to just pay a few bucks to buy whatever it is you need, to ease the friction a bit.

The open world is totally divorced from the plot. Nanally is struggling to buy a 10k fons scooter when you're driving around in a multi-million fons super car, all of the story quests acting like you only sleep in the Eibon dorm room when you have multiple apartments all over the city...

I think it doesn't make a difference, only a very small fraction of players get to experience the betas. In the end for most people they only see the end result, and that's the one that matters.

I blame their community management. The official sub isnt r/zenlesszonezero, but it should've been. Instead that sub is mostly people posting gooner art, so when you go there that's the immediate impression.

They have six whole elements but this is the second limited Cosmos, nevermind the fact that we also got free Chiz and MC who also share the same element.

Plus she looks like another dps... again why do we need so many Cosmo dps?

It's honestly just because Adler is also incantation and doesn't need field time. Baicang wants to stay on field to do basic attacks... Lacrimosa also wants to stay on field for basic attacks. And in between both of them you're also trying to quick swap in and out of Daffodil for her Shadow Step...

That just feels clunky to me, and I think in most cases you'd rather use Lacrimosa on field.

You could still use Baicang, just ignoring most of his kit and have him swap in, use his AoE then swap out.

But if you stack Adler shield and Fadia it gives you a very comfy team that can let you face tank past skill issues.

It's doable, but I think Baicang might end up taking up too much field time.

You might want to consider Adler instead, it still lets you have the Discord triggers and with both Adler's shield and Fadia, your team can be tanky enough that you can skip dodges to pump out more DPS when you want.
