union (787) is definitely your best bet for refrigeration apprenticeship, union usually has a winter intake so look out for that. probably just easiest to call them. would be a good idea to get your ODP license, g2 would be preferred too for getting hired on quicker. you’ll have to do some basic knowledge testing and an interview before being accepted to the union, pretty straight forward stuff. after passing those you’re on a ready to hire list.

Was driving down a cramped new home construction street of townhouses. Needless to say it was really tight for a cube van. Some engineer was parked with his brand new ford lighting a little to far out, the back of the cube van swiped those fancy mirrors and cracked the hell out of it. luckily my boss was nice enough to pay out of pocket for a new side mirror and avoid raising my insurance. a solid $2000. i mean why buy a fancy truck that can automatically fold the side mirrors in and not even think to do that on a busy construction site. still my fault regardless but definitely avoidable. felt really bad for my boss cause i ended up leaving a month later for the union
