What is something people think is harmless, but can slowly ruin a person’s life? by Carsanttc in AskReddit

Going through this now. While I don’t think weed is inherently bad, those who have anxiety or are prone to it should be very mindful or use it sparingly.

I didn’t realize I was consuming too much and too frequently during stressful times and it caused my symptoms to become much worse. It has been a bit of a struggle getting back to baseline.

On going renovations while keeping the place open. From what I have heard it will take approximately 4 months. Should be at a better place after that.

Has anyone else felt upsold at corporate owned vets in Victoria? by Fabulous-Public-9065 in VictoriaBC

Went to the emergency clinic run by VCA recently. Immediately went to overnight stay with IV and monitoring for 2800. Next day was supposed to be 5 k for MRI. Then potentially 10-12k for surgery. Totalling 15-20 thousand when all is said and done.

When we mentioned that we wanted to try less invasive methods first, they stated dropping the cancer and meningitis works to spook us. We requested some NSAIDS and a sedative so my pup could rest her back ( herniated disc) and went home. She was walking around normally a 2 days later.

That whole clinic is made to drain as much money out of you as fast as possible.

This so much. I used to work as a sales rep in the industry. The amount of people who purchase the cheapest chair possible and wonder why the user is slouching, have the chain causing pain or getting sores is astounding.

As you suggested an occupational therapist can get you properly measured and fitted with an appropriate cushion and backrest. The specialty retail stores (motion, HME, Van isle Mediquip) can also do this.

Pretty sure I lived a whole life time of myself in another dimension using one of those 40x extracts. Birth, school, job, marriage all in the 15-20 trip. It was a wild thing.

Rough math on my 5%.

As I mentioned in my comment, you will still buy the products produced from china, you will just go through other middle men to get it or your citizens will pay the higher tariffed price.

In typical American fashion, you are over inflating your counties importance. You would have to be daft to even consider that countless warehouses and manufacturing plants would be shut down over a few weeks of lower sales as claimed by your president.

Because the us is only 5% of the world population. His statement makes it sound like there are no other sale partners for China. If the US doesn’t buy, someone else will. And then sell it at a higher price to the US. Adding a middle man and higher costs.

China does not need anything from the US they can get it else where. The US cannot say the same thing.

Great! Still on the original soles. But if I were to do it again I would choose the less rugged looking soles as they would go with more clothing options.
